WTFH Radio, Saturday, October 6th
"Good morning, Fandom. I'm so not really awake yet, so we're lucky that no one did much yesterady. Let's all just have a moment of silence to thank the gods of island and dorm-based activity for making you all really boring yesterday. Can we do that?"
*long pause*
"Okay. That was less a moment of silence and more a moment for me to drink some coffee but it's the same principle. Anyway, hi! Let's do this.
Oppression, Resistance and Revolution had, as per usual, a cheerful day, but at least this time it was just a cheerful movie day with Gahndi. Ace and Darcy, being sane and not actually interested in this, spent the movie miming. In Astro Sciences they talked about the Doppler Effect -- oh, sweet, I actually know what that is! This is exciting -- and Living on the Outskirts did some self-reflection about what sets them apart, and what makes them belong. Awww. And Art of the Heist took their midterm. In club news, Apathy Club met, which I still don't get, and Student Council started planning our Homecoming. Wheeee.
Dorms
We were quiet today. Toby, per usual, was watching something awful on TV. Tony came in to join him, all excited about popcorn and coffee because he'd forgotten to eat today. And on that same note, Stephanie told him no work on safari, which: how do you need to be told this. There's elephants! Leave your phone alone! And Stephanie wondered how great it'd be if our lives could be summed up in twenty-two minutes along with Toby.
And that's dorms. Apparently we all just hid and bed and read or something today. Maybe just me.
Town
First off, Savannah turned twenty-one today so happy birthday to her. No idea who you are but happy birthday all the same. Stiles left a present for Derek at his creepy mansion, because Stiles is thoughtful like that. I'm sure.
And in their respective restaurants and bars, Toby was having delivery issues at Goodvalor's, and Eric was on the phone with someone named Pam about how that hot guy last week was not funny.
Aaaaand that is it, friends. See you next week! I'm going back to bed."
