Fandom Radio, Friday, August 24th

Maeby: Okay, then I'm going to use this radio signal to send a distress call out. Hello? I've been kidnapped by a bunch of rodents and there's some lady here who looks dead.

*CHITTERING*

Maeby: ... Oh. Yeah. It smells like paint thinner in here. I guess she and the rodents had some kind of drinking contest? ... That would explain why the ground looks like some kind of rodent apocalypse. Um, so if someone could come in here and get me, that'd be --

*CHITTERING*

Maeby: ... You're right, I actually don't have anything better to do than to sit and read these notes. This should be exciting.

SCHOOL

Okay, there's a blank note card that says 'school' in big letters. You guys know that school's out for the week, right?

*CHITTERING*

Maeby: Just checking.

DORMS

I still think it's creepy that you guys spy on us. I want that on the record.

In room 204, some guys named Ben and Ender are packing. Because they are leaving. Peter says that Ender is running away. No, I'm pretty sure he's just getting the hell out of CrazyLand. Ender and Ben get all cutesy looking over some old yearbooks -- oh, are they like a couple? I'm just going to say they are. It's not like the squirrels do a lot of fact-checking, and if they wanted accuracy, they shouldn't have started a drinking contest with what's-her-face.

Cassidy says bye to Ender, and probably also Ben since he's leaving, too. Ender and Karla also talk about something called sunset vids -- you guys could have just written out "videos," it's like two more letters and abbreviations are out right now. Karla wants Ben to leave behind droid parts as a gift for the next person who comes in. I'm gonna say they'd assume it was junk and toss it. I mean, that's what I would have done?

Right. Room 307, some guy named Topher is reading, and then Peter comes back, and then the squirrels just stopped even writing anything. Are you guys serious? This is crappy work even for you. Cara is in 418 and also packing, and she and Surreal discuss how much of her stuff she needs. I'd say don't leave parts behind, because those are going to get thrown out, but that's just repeating myself. And Karla also says goodbye to her. It's like GoodbyeFest in the dorms, I guess.

So, you know. Goodbye, everyone. Or whatever.

In the Salle -- I don't know what that is --

*CHITTERING*

Maeby: Great. In the room where students get to play with weapons, because that's normal, Jace is practicing with a seraph blade, which I have never heard of and don't want to know about. Natalie is watching and asks about ... whether seraph blades have to do with being a Shadowhunter.

Actually, they aren't. I'm a level 4 Shadowhunter myself and we generally use plasma guns.

TOWN

In more exciting news about people packing, that's what Cable and Deadpool are doing. So they can move to Baltimore. Which I think you could like walk to from here. I dunno, I'm new to Maryland. Emma and Jack are at the park on a picnic, while Kitty and Clint are at the movie theater in town on a -- date, spelled with like twelve As. April's sitting on the roof of her building, and offers Jono some pizza while they talk about Google -- which everyone is really into and I have no idea when that happened. You jump ahead ten years and suddenly there's a search engine company that's making phones. That's a little crazy, right? It's not just me? Anyway. Zayne lands a spaceship on the roof -- why not -- and they talk about the view. You know, it's gotta be a pretty small spaceship for that to work, aaaaaaaaaand that sentence sounded dirty.

Pinkie, the insane pony, welcome someone named Derek to a creepy, abandoned mansion with balloons and cake. Derek, I'm pretty sure luring someone to a creepy, abandoned mansion means they're about to murder you, so ... something to keep in mind.

And now there are a bunch of stores that were open -- no? I can't just half-ass this? Ugh, fine.

Stark Industries: William has a baby hedgehog, because it's bizarre rodent day or something. Thomasina wants someone to repair her droid -- get some parts from Ben, apparently he has plenty.

Dite's Something About Sex Store: Emma is doing number crunching, and Jack stops in to say they should go on a picnic. Spoiler alert, she probably agrees since I already mentioned them going on one. And Karla and Emma talk about unbirthdays. Isn't that from some book about a crazy girl?

The Perk: Raven is drinking tea, because ... that's what you do at the Perk. Jono stops in for more of GoodbyeFest except the squirrels were distracted by shiny objects. Seriously? Wow, professionalism at its finest. And the same happens when Karla drops by. The squirrels actually bothered to do their jobs again when Cassidy showed up, possibly because Cassidy brought gifts. ... For Raven, not for them.

Demon Marcus: Jeremy is terrified during his shift. Um. Okay? And then Juliet says he should just leave, but that's an even scarier idea. So ... Jeremy's scared of clothes, I guess?

Caritas: Kenzi decides it's Ride the Wind day. I don't know, and I don't want to know.

Um ... okay, so the rodents just unlocked the door, so disregard the whole distress call thing. Unless anyone wants to show up and check on the drunk lady. Uh ... bye?
