Yes, this is what I was wearing last night. I haven't made it home yet. Some of us have social lives. And do you know how awkward it is sneaking out of someone's apartment because you have to go talk to squirrels?

No, I wasn't going to stay for breakfast anyway. That's not the point. Good morning, it's Friday, I'm Callie Maggotbone and you aren't. Here's some news. Can I just skim these and only read the ones that look interesting?

SCHOOL
The class about summer vacation went to the beach. There were activities, but the teacher wisely advised them to skip the activities and just slack off. I cannot believe that I didn't think of a class topic like "summer vacation." I should teach a class on hot guys feeding me grapes and see what happens.
The class about being a squire teaches everyone how to clean their chainmail. Don't you have servants for that? Everyone takes turn with a barrel of sand and the teacher's armor -- ohhhhh, so you have stuents for that, instead. Well played. Cassidy and Shira use Craft to shake the barrel. That sounds like a euphemism. Not as good as some of the ones I've heard in strip clubs, though.
The class with Thor being Thor doesn't have Thor being Thor; he's a corgi. A thorgi? I apologize, I deserve your contempt for that. Loki asks class where they should rebuild a mythical city. Hell has some really cheap real estate these days.
The class about going on the trail went hunting with Nerf rifles. I don't think you can actually take down a bison with something made out of bendy plastic, guys. A for effort, though.
DORMS
Sia checks on some news from home, wherever home happens to be for her -- and that covers a wide range considering this island. Atton tells her she needs to lighten up some, gets her to play cards with him, and boom, she's a cat. I say we blame Atton for this. Who knows what was in that card deck.
Evan is reading out on the deck, and Loki brings the Thorgi by. I can't seem to stop myself. I hate myself more than you hate me right now. Anyway Loki and Evan are sad that people judge them on appearances, and want to form a club. You two are going about this all wrong. Being feared is much more fun than having a club.
TOWN
At Surf's Up, Summer reads a surfing magazine -- that sentence could not be more summery if we threw in a barbeque. K-Mart also reads a magazine at Nast Sporting Goods. Theme would say it's probably Sports Illustrated, but I haven't made up any vicious slanderous lies yet, so everyone, K-Mart was reading Cat Fancy. Which she was probably just using to hide the lastest issue of Modern Dungeon Quarterly. And at the Fandom Island Gazette -- we have one of those?

Oh, it's new. Okay. Carl is on the phone yelling at someone about his new paper. You can write an article on me, Carl. Local Demon Is Best Thing About Town. I won't even ask for a byline.
Okay, we're out of notes, and that means I can shower off the scent of human and go to bed. You call it decadence, I call it being me.
