Fandom Radio, Monday, April 9
Hello people who I cannot see because they're not in the room. This is Seely "I took the blue flu pill" Booth talking into a microphone, and you're listening to the radio, or the podcast, which is an odd name because you listen on a computer not a pea.
Classes, I didn't have any yay!
Fairy Tales study the story of the Fairy Serpent, and it's very wrong to label snakes just because they want to sleep with other boy snakes. Then they break into groups to discuss the wrongness of calling snakes by derogatory terms. Nadia watches Lana like a hawk for an signs of anti-snakeness, as does River, Liz thinks anyone who dislikes snakes isn't normal, and there's a tumbleweed. Who doesn't like snakes. Bad tumbleweed.
Media Studies gossip about Pop Culture watching "Sport's Night", while Health & Fitness make plans to kill them all.
Conflict Management discuss reconciling sandwich choices. Marie trades sandwiches with Summer, then again with Doc Wilson.
That DAMM class spend their time eating food. Mmm...food. Chris and Luna pass notes.
In musical offices Principal Washburn vists Constable Fraser, who visits Professor Next, who visits Professor M, who visits Professor La Forge, who visits Veep Hades, who is visited by the snake hating tumbleweed.
Professor Readman opens the Library, where the tumbleweed visits the reptile section.
Dorms, where I wish I was in my warm soft bed.
Down in the Lobby, English sells prom tickets. Jake wears a pretty pretty tiara and buys two tickets, Tori holds the tickets, Neil nominates, Cameron buys an academy, Shawn pays using chocolate, and Crichton gets a burger and fries with tickets on the side. Luke buys two, English asks Willow to prom and she turns him down. Awwwwwwwwwww. Poor English. Sokka tries to bribe English, silly Sokka, tickets aren't for kids. Irulan buys a ticket, and D'Anna buys two tickets, before the tumbleweed mistakes her for a snake and viciously attacks her.
In the Salle, Sokka plays with his boomerang, dirty, then yells at Katara for having a bigger boomerang than Professor Deadpool.
...
But she's a girl. How can she have a boomerang?
Over at Bel's, Isabel comes and goes, she comes and goooo-es, Alanna bitchslaps Bel, while the tumbleweed watches. Creepy. Ami gets a phone call, and tells Sakurazaki and Billy all about it. In splitscreen. Marie and Willow are going to prom together, guess that explains why she turned poor Petey down. Hamlet reads darque poetry to Nova and Rikku. Bel brings Isabel home, and Jack wants to know if she got him a present while she was gone. Dawn is teased by Alec for dress shopping, and talks with Mel, before taking that snake-hating tumbleweed to task. Pippi doesn't like letters or tumbleweeds.
Up in the Fourth Floor Common Room, Blair's watching television and eating popcorn. He and River talk about fighting acorns after she tries to stealzors popcorn, Billy tries to think less loudly, then proves himself wrong, while Neil isn't sure how that all works. Cassie is emo over videotapes, and Jim needs to breathe. Breathe, Jim, breathe.
Annette cooks in the Fifth Floor Common Room, talks prom with Tori, and tries to convince Marco that eggs are already dead.
Poor eggies.
Town. Fandom Town. Town.
The Post Office has a cat. Instead of working Setsuna plays with the cat and double-you-tee-eff-s at the tumbleweed, Pippi squees at the kitty while getting a letter. Rosette has two men in the church confessional. Bad nun. Naughty nun.
Mmm...naughty nun.
The bookstore formerly known as is now called Book Haven, Billy approves. Cameron opens Luke's, and Molly objects to the evil tumbleweeds. Town Hall is open, and Chad plays the cactus drums at Empire Records.
Deadpool meets his mentees at the gym. He and Setsuna swordfight, he and Sokka fight, and Rikku shows off her weapon. Giles shows off his Magical Boxers, Easter candy is going cheap at Turtle and Canary, Leo has frames at Photo Hut, and Lana has a shift at Book Haven.
Aziraphale calls the Hargroves.
Lucy is wistful at the Devil's Nest, Wilson aint heavy, he's someone's brother, Annette is quiet and alone, before dancing with Lucy.
Over at Caritas, Jarod's behind the bar, as opposed to on top of it. Rosette celebrates the end of lent and tumbleweeds. Professor Luke's Dad discusses cats with Jarod, before bitching with Xander about getting old. Leo compliments Professor Luke's Dad on his hair, then chats with Jarod, Lana and Jarod have an awkward conversation, and Jaye offers to beat people up for him. Dick gets a bartending job.
The morning shift at the clinic was quiet, while Janet gets frantic during the evening shift. Lana wants to see a doctor, and that evil snake-hating tumbleweed rolls on by.
And the nice fuzzy squirrels have taken all the paper away from me, so nighty-night Fandom, this is Seely "What are those sparkly lights?" Booth pressing the off button. Yay!
