WTFH, Tuesday, May 1st

And a good morning to you, Fandom Island! This is Ronan Nolan with the news of yesterday today, back for your usual Tuesday broadcast. Looks like this might be the last quiet week for a while, so enjoy it while it lasts -- unless you like it busy and loud, in which case you don't have long to wait for things to pick up!

At any rate, over at the school, the office was... very, very orange, with the blame placed firmly at the elk's antlers, while in the dorms, Quinn sent out an invitation to her birthday party. Wesley was packing his stuff before heading off, now that he's graduated; Kenzi had sweets for him in thanks for his shooting lessons, Alex got teased about the state of the room -- trust me, dorm rooms are supposed to be messy, I promise -- and Quinn, who wanted to know if he was coming to the aforementioned party, realises that he's heading off, so instead they talk about what they expected out of Fandom before they got here. Oh, and over in the second floor common room, Butters was watching television.

In town, Ender had tomatoes, whether he wanted them or not, at Stark Industries. No word on whether they used them to supplement the lunch that Ben brought. Annie had a Gizka special at Goodvalor's, and Sam was wandering around town to let people know about a 'Halfoween' party -- halfway between Halloweens, apparently -- tonight in the park.

I wonder if I have a costume handy. Seems as good a way to mark Beltane as any other!

Jake was in a good mood at Caritas, possibly because of all the extra business from Quinn's party in the lounge. She and Bruce discuss not growing up, while Quinn and Annie end up deciding to describe the last year as 'unique'. As unique as any other year at Fandom, really -- no two alike, but everyone punctuated by moments of sheer... Um. Sheer Fandom. Rilla gave Quinn a hand-knit scarf, and Petra's gift of nail-polish was given because Yale is no excuse for boring nails.

Claudia and Quinn talked about how they're both heading out soon, and Claudia insisted that signing their names in the closet of their dorm room with a wood-burning tool would not risk setting them on fire. Rilla asked Bruce if he heard her cheering for him at graduation -- apparently Jims wanted one of the creepy dolls -- while Bruce in turn asked Annie, quite adventurous with her Coke and grenadine, if she's past the graduation high. She's doing her best to keep gremlins out of her luggage, apparently, which is... definitely understandable. Rilla has been eating a cookie every time a friend leaves, so she was quite hyper when talking to Annie about her visit; apparently Rilla's mother is quite excited, and wants to know what Annie's favorite food is. And Petra had a fruity umbrella drink.

Mmm, fruity umbrella drinks.

Lastly, the nurses were tangoing at the clinic. Which I still haven't managed to figure out.

I'm still three-quarters convinced that I really don't want to know, but that last quarter won't stop wondering!

And that's your news of yesterday, Fandom! Have a good week, and enjoy the last moments of relaxation before workshops!
