WTFH, Tuesday, April 10th
And another week closer to the end of term! Good morning, everyone. This is Ronan Nolan with your news of yesterday, today! Keep all arms, legs, and tentacles inside the radio at all times.
School!
Defending Yourself reviewed their semester so far in preparation for finals, with students covering what they'd learned in class, while Food Tour of Fandom drank bubble tea while exploring a Taiwanese market. Philosophy 101, meanwhile, watched a film about a man who injures the Easter Bunny.
Maybe that's where the nurses got the idea yesterday.
In Basic Strategy, Tyrion discussed blackmail, with students listening to the lecture before talking about times that they'd been blackmailed themselves. In the library, William had chocolate eggs, and staff were working out with a WiiFit in the office.
Dorms!
Natalie was researching the occult in her room when Peter stopped by; they very pointedly didn't discuss their daughter until finally they did, though only to agree never to discuss her again. When Sam showed up, he and Natalie talked about Philosophy 101 before Natalie tried to get him to guess her middle name -- it starts with V, if anyone else cares to try -- which degenerated into makeouts.
Woo, makeouts! I approve.
Jake called his dad about his summer plans, after which Caroline came by for coffee and Italian. Language, apparently, not food. She figured into the conversation with Jake's father, it seems, which excited her, and presumably this also degenerated into makeouts, although the squirrels don't say. Doesn't every conversation like that, though, in high school? Mine all did.
Town!
In further probable-makeouts news, Ender was at Stark Industries, where -- shocker! -- Ben showed up with food. Annie got no help from the droids at Goodvalor's, where she was trying to make college decisions, and at the Magic Box, Surreal was making potions. And Vincent had bunny ears, a reserved stool, and Passover-themed food at Cafe Luke's.
Over at the Perk, Dean had espresso and wanted poetry readings, which Hayley was skeptical about poetry readings specifically and art generally.
... But art. I mean, I'm not sold on the poetry readings, either, but art.
Finally, I was dealing with nurses at the clinic; they were insisting upon hunting bunnies for chocolate.
Don't ask me. I couldn't figure it out either.
And that's your news of yesterday, today! Thanks for listening, Fandom Island, and I hope you have a good week!
