Fandom Radio [Friday, March 9, 2012]

Good morning, Fandom! Rilla Blythe here and today is Friday, which means the weekend is mere hours away! Settle in with a nice cup of tea and listen to the news of yesterday!

First up is, as usual, classes! Ethics received their assigned robotic babies--must be nice that you can turn them in after a week--and Miss McGill was the only single mother--though with Miss Gale's sudden departure through a mirror of all things, Mr. Kaplan will find himself without a partner as well. Perhaps you can team up? In other pairings, Miss Gabrielle tried to convince a skeptical Mr. Aaron that this won't be that difficult. She's wrong, Mr. Aaron. Mr. Puckerman and Miss Bishop were paired together, and Miss Daniels and Mr. Nelson rock-paper-scissored to see who would take care of the child. I would call this immature, but Miss Puckett screamed AND HIT MR LAUFEYSON WITH THE BABY THAT IS NOT OKAY. Miss Clark told Mr. Bellamy that she was clueless about children, but I suspect that if you don't hit him with it, you're doing rather well, comparatively. The class about the sea got to have a glass-bottomed boat tour in the Danger Shop. That sounds very jolly! Lord Lannister was writing his sister in his office, and Miss Electroclash was feeling unwell today, so her class
got to play games on the computer, and Miss Pie was also unwell, and her class watched a movie about horses. I do hope nothing is going around...Miss Fabray noted at the sorority that nothing very terrible has happened in some time, so we're probably due. The rest of the sorority meeting was us talking about happy things--like cake and Jims sleeping through the night--and other ways to combat stress. Miss Edison would probably have less stress if Miss Logan didn't spend her time complaining about our choices in activities.

In other dormitory news, Miss Perry was enjoying refreshments on the roof. Was there punch? I adore a nice punch. Lady Daenerys was playing with her new phone and was visited by Lady Lucrezia and Mr. Laufeyson before offering sympathy to Miss West, who cannot seem to shake her cold. Mustard plasters will do the trick! Susan swears by them. Mr. Peter Wiggin was checking his email until he was called on by Mr. Brink, and they discussed the news of the day, and probably the weather. That always seems to come up in conversation.

In town, Mr. Murdoch found penguins in Stark Industries, Miss Scully was ceaning the clinic, Miss Millie read at the book store, and the play continued its rehearsals, though you could also just stand around and eat muffins if that took your fancy instead. Miss Adams told Mr. Bolton that she needed more to do, and Miss Fabray requested clarification on the lyrics she was singing.

Finally, Miss [Kenzi's last name] offered half-priced drinks for women at Caritas, and Mr. Stotch pretended to be a woman to take advantage of her generosity.

That's all I have for today! Now it's off to class, where hopefully my teacher isn't an octopus again...
