WTFH, Tuesday, February 28th
*thump*
Good morning, everyone! It's a slightly-more-injured-than-usual Ronan on your radio today, but don't feel too bad for me -- I enjoyed every minute of it.
I hope your breaks were as enjoyable as mine, but it's hard to beat helping your friends take down a mercenary consortium. From the other side of the galaxy.
School!
Defending Yourself didn't want to leave Rio behind, so they were on a beach to practice running on sand. Quinn gave Mercy a ten second head start; no word on whether or not she caught her. Basic Strategy was all about candy -- that is, about winning it by guessing things about your classmates. Students played the game, and lost candy if they got guesses wrong. Food Tour of Fandom covered kebabs -- the best kind of meat for kebabs is lamb, and don't let anyone tell you differently -- while Philosophy 101's movie this week was de Janeiro. The students enjoyed it, probably because it made them think of their trip last week.
The newspaper had a meeting, where Dave was drinking his weight in coffee, and also released this week's issue. Meanwhile, Kappa Kappa Gremlin continued the trend of remembering Rio with burgers and fruity drinks, which the guys somehow managed to keep from looking like girly virgin drinks. Which they were. Virgin.
The drinks, I mean.
Over in the library, William was lecturing misshelved books in the world travel section, and the office talked about removing the new cold showers from pollen week.
Town!
Ender was at work at Stark Industries, where I bet you can't guess who brought lunch.
Okay, you probably can.
Hank was at Turtle and Canary with lemonade and a comic book, and I showed up for my clinic shift a little... injured.
Best vacation ever.
Over at Caritas, Jake was flicking rubber bands at Tino; Bruce Wayne warned him that Tino may take revenge.
And that's today's news of yesterday, today, everyone! This is Ronan Nolan, signing off.
