Uh, hi everyone. This is Billy Kaplan, and I know I'm not the usual radio person, but Miss Sullivan isn't here and the squirrels are poking me with their little notes, so I'm going to read the news before they paper cut me to death or something.
*chittering*
Those edges are sharp! I know what I'm talking about.
So, I'm not sure what the weather is like in Fandom, but it's been really nice and sunny here, which is good when most of the things to do on a trip involve being outside. People were a little slow coming out of their rooms because, well, that's what happens the morning after a big party, for reasons I'm not getting into on air. Topher and I ended up bringing some of the party back with us accidentally - seriously people, do not go to sleep with glitter on you, or it will be in your bed even after the nice cleaning people come and change your sheets - and neither one of us felt like getting up so--we did not snuggle, oh my god. It was just warmer to share the bed, okay? Kenzi came in with a hangover remedy--wait, she did?--and she stole one of Topher's boas before he told her that I was there and--oh god, Topher.
Um, anyway, Stephanie teased Tony about going to the ball, and he told her how I said she should have come with us, which she totally should have, because there seriously would have been no shortage of entertainment for her. And Miss Dröttningu found out that Jaye talks in her sleep. Hopefully not about anything awkward?
The restaurant was busy in the morning: Elphaba and Hanna talked about their adventurous plans for the day, and Jack Carter told Annie about accidentally going on a helicopter tour. I'm not sure how someone accidentally gets on a helicopter, unless things we're probably not supposed to be drinking on a school trip were involved. Annie also made sure Bruce knew she was herself again, and tried to subtly ask about the ball. If anyone remembers little details from the ball, they're doing better than I am.
The spa was open, and Ender found Cara beating stuff up in the gym. He tried to get her to go on the rock climbing tour, but it wasn't really her thing. Over at the pool, Peter and Rebecca talked about current events while Rebecca tanned and Peter played with his computer, and Kenzi was surprised to see Peter out in the sun, although she still tried to get him off the computer.
Daenerys questioned Rebecca's reading material, because she was reading the newspaper, but Rebecca explained that staying informed is important to her. Ender asked Tara about what she was reading, and told her all about the ball, and Loki and Tara talked about what Loki's been up to in Rio since he prefers winter to warmer weather. I'm going to assume the lack of terrified notes means he hasn't been doing anything bad.
Matt accidentally spilled his drink on Rebecca, and she tried to find out who his roommate on the trip is, so she could sexile him, which may or may not have been why she flirted with Nathan and took him off somewhere to hook up with him. Okay, look, I know some of the things I've heard are probably just rumors, but does there need to be a sex intervention here somewhere? I'm just wondering.
Out in Rio, the weather on the beach was apparently awesome. Sam tried to get Natalie into the water, and asked her out on a date for the evening. Seifer tried the hang gliding, and Stacey, Ben, and Goose went on the rock climbing tour.
Later in the evening, Jack got a phone call about a text message he sent, and Luke came back to his and Percy's room drunk and missing his shirt. I really hope notes like this aren't going to keep these trips from happening again. Miley and Dave came back from surfing, and poor Dave was feeling sore from...I guess not surfing very well, so Miley tried to make him feel better. The pool was still open and, oh god, so was the bar. Quinn made Puck buy her a drink, and they talked about the roommates they'd gotten stuck with, and whether or not Quinn and Rebecca were secretly having hatesex. I don't think that's something anyone but the two of them need to know about!
Kate was drinking soda, much to Bruce's amusement, but Hanna had a drink, and she and Stacey talked about how different this trip is from the kinds of school trips they've been on before. And out in Rio, Annie went to the scenarium, and had a nice, safe time.
That's actually the last note I have, so I guess that means I'm done. That wasn't so bad in the grand scheme of things, and I hope you guys enjoyed listening.
