Fandom Radio, Dec 3
This is the Hero of the Spaceways, Han Solo, coming to you from the Crow's Nest to catch you up on all the latest at Fandom High. Ready to lift!
*sound of engine cranking up*
Our First Port of Call is the classrooms. Hope you're all back to the grind because finals are coming up like an asteroid field you forgot was there.
Gym Class is playing basketball today. Never heard of it. Bet it involves getting a ball in a basket.
Math is just reviewing. And boy do we have a lot of stuff to review.
Speech gets to watch a movie, which is always fun, but then there's a paper, which kinda wrecks the whole experience.
Ethics class talks about...*voice cracks* rape and Tara has office hours.
Physics has a very elementary lecture on thermodynamics. And we got to put an egg into a bottle, which was cool, but getting it out went real messy in the case of Our Interpid Hero.
Journalism is cancelled. But, there's extra credit if you sign in!
History got serenaded and talked about the Renaissance. But nobody sold turkey legs or sword fought.
Celtic Lit and Civ talked about "The Pillow Talk", which is more about a cattle raid and the downfall of Connacht, and not about pretty Chinese girls painting on their naked lovers who in no way resemble Anakin's master.
Cultivation and Gardening talks about sustainable living, which sounds pretty interesting if you're from a marginal world.
Anthropology is talking about mutation and its effects on population. Given how pretty some of the mutants at this school are, I can definitely see an effect on the population.
Physical geography talks about weathering, which is how rocks break down into sand. Which gets everywhere.
Dean Bristow, Spider, and The Tick all have office hours. If you ain't into theater, Christmas decorating or spoons, I suggest not pestering them.
At the library Bel and Marty are exchanging glares and Parker and Zero come for the librarian, and the confrontation leads Janet to close the library. Just be careful around the books. Who knows what they'll turn you into.
That's all the system hopping for tonight.
Meanwhile, Back in the Crew Quarters:
Major K makes breakfast and Lily gives Draco and Jonathan kisses and hugs, which are apparently candy, and Sidle takes Grissom some soup.
I said crew quarters not galley.
The Cam puppy plays with Vladdie and goes for a run with Liz. Cam, pal, I think you're having more fun as a pup than as a man.
Kara, Lee and Anders are training for Pyramid while Major K and Conner play mini golf. Too athletic for me, guys.
Lana and Shep are hanging out. I think we got into trouble last time. Be good.
Jaye was bitten by a gremlin and thinks she's a cop. And Bridge and John get roped into patrolling for mischief. That's in the "find and prevent" way, not in the "causing" way, or Officer Jaye will kick your butts.
On the emo side of the corridor, Veronica and Buffy worry over Bel and Beka is sadly no longer a hamster, while Maia has mistletoe.
Duce and Logan bother Anakin. Let the boy practice. He's got a banthabell solo coming up soon.
Cam and Vala and Callynanders are being cuddly and cute. Ah young love.
Bagoas, says here someone's making fun of your name. Looks like we need to go convince them otherwise.
At the medikit, Angel and Grissom go to the clinic.
Out in port:
Tara drops off a package for Aayla. How nice. The House of Illusions has been turned into a swan? I don't write 'em folks, I just read'em. And there's a Cameron Mitchell movie at the theater. Yeah what I just said.
Aaron gets a massage from Ben at the Emporium and at Red's, he sings Christmas songs. The cubs sing along, and it's adorable, or at least better than wookiee music... Speaking of Christmas, Our Intrepid Hero came to the rescue of the very short Tonks and Maia as they did battle with garland and mistletoe at Wonka's.
Geoff has sex with Loz. Buffy and Belhave oral sex exchange Screw Yous on the subjects of Angel and Phoebe. And some guy caught fire at The Fourth Sin. Never had THAT happen at the Apple.
Buffy and Xander have coffee with Jenny-the-psych-teacher. Zero and Jarod talk about Michael, while Wilson and Aziraphale hang out in the park. Tara talks to Aziraphale about class Paige and Bagoas are also meeting at the park before a private dinner at the Arms. I'm the jealous kind, remember?
Wilson checks to see what Agnes Nutter had to say about today
At Caritas:
Parker, Jenny and Angela hang and talk about Angel. Boy seems to be a popular topic of discussion. There will be a magic act, but it hasn't happened yet.
Geoff's busy today. Aside from Loz, and talking to him about what happened with CJ, he's seen Angela, Justin and
Tonks, who came by with coffe plans. Sounds like he needs a cup or three.
That’s all they gave me tonight. Clear skies and happy landings from the Hero of the Spaceways. *sound of an engine going to lightspeed*
As the sound effect fades, Han is heard turning away from the mic. "Beautiful? what are you doing here at this hour?"
