Fandom Radio, Thursday October 19th
Goooooooooood evening Fandom! This is Seely "Not his regular night" Booth bringing you all the latest news and gnus of the island.
Classes, not my usual kind.
In War Theory, there's a review of the Declaration of Independence. Apparently it gets two thumbs up.
Science with an exclamation mark, go on a field trip to the beach. No word on whether it's a bikini spotting field trip or not. And in the Science which is Applied, applied to what I fear to ask, students pick their midterm projects. Which Schro-ding-a-ling-ling-er wants to be.
Right.
Philosophy of Values talk about humility versus arrogance, and I get the oddest feeling I'd be tempting fate to say anything about that.
Dance learn swing dancing, which is quite a different thing from swinger dancing, and not quite as dirty.
Over in Ethics it's a lot like life, as they play Master and Servant...uh, Apprentice. Carter is upset with her bunny suit, even though it doesn't take away from her authourity in any way whatsoever, and Alanna gives Professor Lord Darth Vader a hug. Apparently that's all he needs as he didn't give her a detention in return.
Myth Into History, talk about Rome and have a pie fight. I think that might be a euphemism, since Rome wasn't famous for its pie fights, if you know what I mean?
Professors Winchester, Adair, and Aziraphale have office hours, as do Docs Wilson and Reid. The office is open.
Rory, rather than Isabel, opens the library. She is greeted by Miss Readman, helps Alec borrow some books, eats lunch with Bridge, makes Luke sad, and is replaced by non-authouritive Sam while she's in class.
Over at the cafeteria Naomi and Buffy each enjoy a quiet lunch.
In club news, our counterparts on the Newspaper staff meet, get assignments, chat, and are watched by Professor Cale.
Dorms, which be filled with insane Jamies.
One unaviodable sight in the dorms today, was Jamie, who took the whole School Beautification thing too far and began giving forced makeovers. Amongst his many victims are Pippi, who gets paper mache-d in newspaper, Joxer, who gets his armour stolen and replaced with 'suaver' clothes, Pete Hutter, who drags it up in bonnet and hoop skirt, Angela, who ends up a glamourous blonde bombshell, Lana, who's a princess with apples, not dirty, Professor Poppins is a flapper babe,Evie and Dawn both get Gothed. Hmm, I wonder where he found the axes and pointy helmets. Moving on, Aziraphale gets a taste of the classic American jeans and t-shirt look, Carter gets a bunny suit, which totally does not look ridiculous on her, Alanna gets jeans and a tank, while Faithful ends up a cute little kitty in a bellhop suit. Awwww. Please, tell me there's pictures of that.
Taking refuge from the beautification in the salle is Sestuna, who makes the reasonable assumption that not even Jamie is nuts enough to go near a girl with a sword. Also avioding the Jamies is English, who gives Setsuna advice for Jude's birthday.
In other dorm news, Lana gets a phone call while snuggling with Jim, as does Parker. Minus the snuggling with Jim part. John and Aeryn have a fight, but make up later. Molly and my man Ray are adorable, as are Carter and Harkness, at least until she disapears. Uh, that's not good. Jack does not get drunk in response. Weiss makes ships in bottles and gets visits from Nadia, Dawn, and Joxer, who is apparently lost. Also reciveing visits is Teddy, who has a bored Sakurazaki drop in on him, and Cally who gets to see Pippi's paper mache job. Conner find out his parents and brother won't be showing up for Parent's Weekend, man, I know how that feels.
Over in the Fourth Floor Common Room, a restless Setsuna plays poker with Ranma and the twins. While up on the Fifth Floor, Pippi begs her monkey for her keys back, and tells Nadia about something called Jamification.
And Billy is naked. In public.
...
Rum, rum, where's the rum? There has to be some around here somewhere. This place reeks of it.
Town, where they're very quiet.
Greg and Isabel prepare for Parent's Weekend by fleeing the island. The twins look over go-carts atSparky Repairs. Dawn is all Gothy at Giles's bookstore. I hope he has axe insurance. Jude is cheerful over at Luke's. Barbossa does his radio show, and let me tell you, rum over my equipment is preferable to shed fur by a long shot.
Aziraphale, makes dinner for Doc Wilson, Aly, and Abby. While over at Caritas, Pip gives Pheobe a late birthday present, Phoebe and Bel chat about Parent's Weekend, and Sister Rosette and Chrono hang in the lounge.
The clinic is quiet for both shifts. I'm assuming this is a good thing.
And that's all the squirrels have time for tonight. This is Seely "Tuesdays are more my thing" Booth signing off.
