Fandom Radio, Tuesday, October 10
Look at this place...don't shed, my felt covered ass... is this even on...stupid buttons...stupid fingers...here we go...
Ahem.
Evening Fandom. This is Seely "Call me a wee puppet man one more time and you die" Booth, bringing you all the news that's unfit to print on tonight's broadcast. And how are you all? Me? I'm a puppet and if I find out that any of you had something to do with it, there will be payback.
Classes, where the teachers pull our strings.
Music class, discuss the music of the Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin. Then attempt regicide by butchering her songs.
Criminal Justice is all about making plans against those who wrong you. And believe me, after today, I have a list. In order to help with planning there are charts being made, which are later presented to the rest of the class.
Basic Acting are all interested in each other. Well, whatever works for you guys...oh, wait, it's continued on the the next page, interested in each other's monologues. That makes slightly more sense. They also practice said monologues
Humour has a reviwe of past classes, and Doc Wilson is concerned about Lana. Who I hope didn't also get turned into a puppet.
Biology dicuss evolution and natural selection, before going to explore the rainforest in the dangershop.
The kids in Spies and Spying flirt. No, seriously, they do.
Literature go over To Kill a Mockingbird and prosecute a fake court case.
Isabel opens the library, and Sam's shows up to help. Cameron and Isabel talk Homecoming. Speaking of, I hope everyone had as good a Homecoming as I did and a better Homecoming Weekend too.
Professors Cale, Vader, Adair, and Winchester all have office hours, as does Principal Washburn. The office, as always, is open.
In club related news, Archeology and Fencing clubs meet. Archeology prepare for some kind of treasure hunt, getting volunteers, going over equipment lists, and chatting. Professors Covingtion and Jackson show up to keep an eye on things.
Fencing on the other hand, are all about the streching, demonstrations, keeping the newbies in their space, practicing, and being watched by V and English.
Dorms, stage for the Punch and Judy show that is our lives.
I woke up a puppet today. Seriously, nothing else that happened in the dorms can beat that. Although the immenient frog invasion my notes say Willow's planning, might top it.
This afternoon Chad falls asleep instead of studying, in the third floor common room. You'know, unless he also woke up a puppet, I don't see how this is newsworthy.
One of the twins, Kaoru, I think, leaves a note for Matilda, likely in response to the one she left them earlier.
Jim is worried about Lana being sick. Which shows he's a good boyfriend and likely to aviod unfortunate, completely untracable back to my person, accidents, for a long time to come.
Higher up on the fifth floor, Bel and Pheobe snuggle in the common room while discussing Parent's Weekend. Guys, it's great that you're in love and all, but don't you have a room or something? Nadia asks the exact same question. Cally gets an another apology from Bel for her eye, and then they all discuss Nadia's love life.
Later, Cally finds Nadia in the third floor common room, Matilda shows up to read, and John Connor is there.
In other news, Lana is still sick, John worries Aeryn, and Billy gets a letter.
Town, where there is a glorious lack of puppetry.
In the bustling town of Fandom, Jamie opens Empire Records, Chronocleans up the church, River and John Connor both visit the bookstore, and Blair talks to Jim at the Perk after interveiwing Professor Vader.
Over in the Park, Hikaru pretends to be Kaoru, much to Matilda's displeasure. Professor Aziraphale and Doc Wilson also hang out there and talk tea. That's not a euphemism, according to my notes.
Later, Aziraphale and Doc Wilson have Bel and Pheobe over for dinner. Also having dinner in town are Sakurazaki and Ranma, who go to Ching Tai on what might or might not be a date. Billy goes to the nightclub, and Cafe Fina is not open.
Both the day and night shifts at the clinic were quiet. While over at Caritas, the Doctor offers to show Jane a movie after she gets off work. Dirty?
Finally, Faithful, in addition to his usual leaving fur over the equipment, somehow mangages to completely shred the furniture while doing his broadcast, Alanna, have you considered getting him fixed? I hear it clears up a number of behavioural problems.
And that's the news I have for today. If any of my listeners, and by my listeners I mean 'red-heads named after trees' might know why I happen to currently be made of felt, or are interested in hugging a puppet, you know where to call me.
This is Seely "Not that wee a puppet man" Booth, signing off.

She also wondered where she could run into Seely today so sh e could pretend to take credit for his puppet problem.
