Fandom Radio, October 5th

Good evening, Fandom. This is Aly coming to you without my usual feline friend. I have no idea where he is. He's a cat; it's not like we expect consistency.

Since he's not here with us, I'm not going to leave you all in suspense. The clinic went unvisited by patients both morning and evening. No matter what else happened today, you can rest easy that no one ended up hurt.

Classes. They're why we're all here. Even when it doesn't seem like it.

Apparently a Royal Court was announced today by Principal Washburn. Tomorrow you all get to vote for Princes, Princesses, and a King and Queen. Democracies are very, very strange.

Science-with-an-exclamation-point took a field trip to explore water. It's wet. Next class. Professor Winchester ran a make-out session for Dean and Dean. Ooh, I'm sorry, make up session though the squirrels seem to think the other would be more entertaining for next time.

War Theory defines a Just War and determines who has the authority to wage one. Philosophy of Values talks about helping a person against his will. My question? Why would you? If someone could explain that to me, I'd be grateful. And the students taking Dance should be ready for tomorrow after learning how to salsa today. In between dances, Walter gave Nadia a PMS kit. You're a brave man, Walter. And, since we know you didn't end up in the clinic, I'm impressed.

Myth into History learn about Troy then draw up battle plans. Zack wages a battle of a different sort by asking Evie to Homecoming. I'm going to assume she said yes so an 'awwwwwwwww' is appropriate here.

Professors Winchester, Adair, Aziraphale, Lorne, Abby, and Reid all held office hours. Some were visited, others were sadly ignored. Visit your teachers, people. Because otherwise? Office hours are very boring. I'm just saying. The office was also open.

The Newspaper staff met today and received their assignments. Self Defense Club met up to spar and chat. I definitely approve of the tactic of chatting up as a defensive technique. Offensive technique too but that would be outside of the scope of the club, I suppose.

Rory opened the library today and just about half the school visited her. Rory and Angela gossiped about the dance, counseled Parker on her breakup, took Luke into Special Collections, and was a 'doofus' with John. Walter was polite and didn't demand anything from Rory other than a book.

In the Dorm Halls

Up in the Common Room this morning, Mac did sudoku before luring Cally in for some chocolate and girlkissy. Again, I say awwwww. Conner does sword drills to bad music in the salle before he's caught by Sakurazaki. It's a whole flaily mess - which seems a problem with swords involved until Zuko comes in worried that he's being stalked by a green demon. He calms down enough to show off his fire magic. Later in the afternoon, Luke practices with his lightsaber with English Peter. Notes say Luke manages not to cut off his foot.

...

If that's seriously a concern, should you really be using a sharp weapon? Stick with a blunt instrument next time.

On the roof, Nadia enjoys her chocolate before talking to Marie about Homecoming dresses. Marie and Pippi congratulate each other on their Homecoming Court nominations before Pippi accepts Nadia's apology. Nadia is apologized to by Blair. Apparently that doesn't go well, but it doesn't stop Blair from being self-congratulatory with Pippi. Jamie comes to brag to Marie about not getting detention, find out he's a good bad example - the best kind - to Pippi, share chocolate with Nadia, and tell Blair about the adorable demon yesterday. That was almost circular storytelling for which I thank you.

Hermione borrowed a textbook from Cedric - normally the library's the proper place for that, Hermione before getting asked to Homecoming by a note on her door. Which is an original if cowardly method.
Cedric was also visited by Izzy this morning bearing breakfast and a kitten. And Isabel, in turn, was cheered up by a visit from Greg.

In yet more Homecoming news, Molly and Dawn talk about the dance before Ray asks Molly for the pleasure of her company. Hermione's mystery suitor? That's how you do it. Once more into the breach, dear friends. Hmm, not dirty, if that needs to be specified. Molly's also visited by Aeryn who presumably does not ask her to Homecoming. Homecoming may be discussed though.

Willow and English Peter are Definitely Not Cute when they lunch together. Jaye calls Mahandra - to talk about Homecoming of course and Dawn reassures Sam that no one thinks he's a eunuch. Speak for yourself, Dawn.

The evening finds Schrodinger scoffing at Wendy the Werewolf Stalker before discussing the attractiveness of the girls and an Evil Empire with Luke. Honestly? A conversation where Homecoming isn't mentioned? I'm flabbergasted. Billy says hi and proves that testosterone strangely chases away thoughts of dances and dresses. Evie's watching Spooky Things upstairs which Dean appreciates. Conner, however, is confused by Evie's biscuits. Which sounds dirty and the squirrels can not clear me up on if it is or not.

Finally, in the cafeteria, Jim gets turned into a panther while eating lunch. I honestly have no words.

*silence*

In Fandom Town

Down in our fair village of Fandom, the twins open Sparky Repairs, Jamie opens Empire Records, Jane opens All and Sundries, and Walter opens Cafe Fina. All go unvisited.

Luke's is a bit busier as Wilson and Aziraphale stop in. Clark does as well and learns that Jude and Sakurazaki are going to Canada for the weekend. And miss Homecoming? What have they been talking about for the past week?

At the bookstore, Giles makes Dawn explain her relationships with the Winchesters then accepts a cookie from River. Wilson and Aziraphale come in looking for misprinted Bibles. As you do.

Hermione studied diligently at the Perk. Rory stopped in and met Weiss who does quite a good card trick or two. Seriously, ladies, ask him. Hermione informed Rory about her course of study before discovering that JD was the sender of her note. Or perhaps not because he received one from her. Either way? They're going to Homecoming together. Everyone? Awwwwww...

It was a feline-friendly night at Caritas as the Panther formerly known as Jim made the rounds. Blair found him to be a 'cute, widdle kitty-kat' before learning his identity. Lana tells Bel about Jim's status before hanging out with her boyfriend in the lounge. Bel moved on to chat up Phoebe.

If you missed Pirate Radio today, everyone and their brother called in hotly debating the issue of Sam Winchester being a eunuch. The Pirate stands firm in his position.

And on that note, have some enchanted evening tonight and tomorrow. Be good at the dance and remember not to desert your date.

If you see Faithful? Tell him I totally brought shrimp tonight but now he doesn't get any.

Walter dropped his head to his desk with a dull thud. Usually you could sneak things by if they happened in class.

Dean was caught between a bark of laughter and an indignant grunt. Make-out?! The result was highly comical, and luckily no one was around to hear it.
