Hi everyone! This is Layla Williams coming to you with all the news that's fit to...read out loud, if I can figure these notes out. *sounds of shuffling papers can be heard* Okay, I think I know why there's alcohol in here now.
Student Life: Yes, Students Have Lives on Sundays Too.
Let's see, where should I start? Up in the fifth floor common room this morning, Cally watched the Rainbow Randolph show, and talked to Pippi about River, and whether Pip is a better kisser than Nadia. Oooh, the gossiping starts early in the day here. That's good to know.
Outside the dorms, Chad practiced his guitar and met Molly, with whom he discussed his body odor. I mean body armor! Sorry! That makes...well, not much more sense, but at least a little. Apparently, Chad was also cute with Ranma's puppy, and Pip stopped to talk about how much he disliked getting kicked in the groin. Well gee, who wouldn't?
The fourth floor also seems to have been busy this morning, probably because Dean was cooking, and I am so sad that I missed that! Jake - who I imagine is a girl, since all the notes say "she" and "her" - gave Dean coffee and asked if she could sketch him. Is that a common introductory question, because she also offered to paint Agnes in exchange for teaching Jake about...some kind of coffee that I'm not even going to try to pronounce because I know I'll butcher it.
Broots and Agnes both met Dean, and then talked to each other about computers. And Evie, a.k.a. the best roommate ever, dropped in too, to talk to Agnes, Dean, and Jake. Oh, and Broots offered to help her with the evil pornography that's been popping up on her computer. Congratulations Broots, you are officially the new favorite person of the Lovely Ladies of Room 512!
Zuko wrote letters, although it doesn't say who they were being written to. I guess that would be kind of weird if it did. Jack had some insomnia issues today, and Jim hung up a list of people who can beat him up if he hurts Lana. Um, yay for planning?
It looks like there was a rash of adorable coupleness throughout the dorms: Sakurazaki apologized to Jude, Willow and English Peter snuggled - I don't make the nicknames, folks, I just read them - and Walter and Nadia did the whole "I'm awake but pretending to be asleep so I can cuddle thing," which, awwww!
Rory checked on Luke, while Z made purple pancakes, and if you'll excuse me for a second, I have got to make a note to snag that recipe. *pauses for a few moments to scribble* Okay, back now. Joxer came by too, even though he totally doesn't live with Luke. Oops!
Tyler blew stuff up with...Girl!Sam? That sounds like kind of a dangerous guy activity to me, but I guess if you were blowing up things that no one needs anymore...anyway, John taught Aeryn how to ride a bike, and Parker and Jarod had "couple time." Whoever wrote that note? Thank you for the euphemism. I really appreciate it.
In less-than-happy news, Bel was upset when he found out who hurt Phoebe, and it seems that the twins are fighting, from what they said to Pip, and from Hikaru's conversation with Matilda.
Dawn and Dean, who I think is Winchester!Dean not Forrester!Dean, talked about Sammy. That's not very nice, especially if he wasn't there to talk about himself! Al stopped by to see Sakurazaki, and Ranma dropped by Teddy's room to return a comic book.
Hey, I never said everyone was up to something interesting. I just said it was a busy day!
It doesn't look like things died down much in the evening either. The fourth floor common room was busy again with Blair and English Peter, both of whom got themselves injured this weekend. I thought another student was involved, but it says they told Joxer that they were attacked by a giant. Is there a student running around who's a giant? These notes are so not helpful on this topic.
Anyway, Lavender peeked in and talked to Blair, Peter, and Joxer, Gwynn also talked to Peter, Blair and Billy, and Jude seemed to have misunderstood what happened with Blair. Luckily, he was able to clear up what happened, with Billy and with Luna too.
Blair also discussed the evils of Western Medicine with Molly, and with yours truly. Ooh, and I got to meet Joxer too! I'm sorry, Joxer the Mighty. I don't want to forget the important part! Zero offered to hurt whoever hurt Blair, which is awfully sweet of...her? Him? And Carmela explained Speech to Blair, Peter and Molly. I guess that has something to do with her being able to mess with the television, which is a pretty awesome ability, I have to admit.
There was another attack of cuteness in the third floor common room, where Lana and Jim were being "coupley." And boy, do I hope that's not a euphemism, because ew, that's a public space! Meanwhile, Marie was hanging out up on what it says is the Roof of Emo, but it doesn't sound like there was much of that going around. Conner seemed surprised to find her there, while Jamie encouraged her to be more social. Maybe it's just me, but it sounds like she was being pretty darn social already!
Schrodinger did something to make Marie and Zuko's heads hurt, which I hope was unintentional, or else that was really, really mean. And Jamie... *pauses* *shuffles papers some more* Wow. Jamie informed Tyler that he hopes to die in a pillow fight with barely dressed women. I think that might officially be the most disgusting thing I've ever had to say out loud. Thanks for that.
Out on the Town That Clearly Doesn't Sleep Much
The students weren't the only ones who were busy today! Mr. Aziraphale and Dr. Wilson had breakfast and took care of Blair. I don't know about you guys, but my list of Officially Awesome Teachers just grew by two names.
There was a brunch at Luke's Diner this morning, and it sounds like it was pretty successful. Jake and Mrs. Gilmore-Danes met, and I have a little note here to add that yes, the coffee pot survived. Mrs. Gilmore-Danes also met Lavender, Bel, Joxer, and Ms. Arroway, who it also says received flowers today. Awwww, that's sweet!
Miss Frizzle and Alanna both stopped by the brunch as well, as did the Pevensies. And Bel and Anders chatted, but it doesn't say about what, so I'm going to imagine that it was a typical guy conversation about power tools, and cars, and women, and possibly pillow fights, if either of them know Jamie.
The clinic was fairly quiet today, which is definitely not a bad thing, in my opinion. Pippi visited River in the morning, and the whole place was quiet in the evening.
And it looks like Caritas was quiet too. Cally and Agnes were in the lounge blushing at each other, although I'm not sure why. Maybe they overheard Jamie's conversation. And Clark was there, just reading and people-watching. Creeeepy!
Whew. I think that's everything! And I didn't even have to drink! Thanks for listening, everyone. Good night!

Everything seemed okay....

Then she sat straight up in bed blinking at the pillow fight comment. "But that makes no sense at all...."
