Fandom Radio, Tuesday, January 3rd
...and there I was thinking I was going to start sleeping in.

It's one day later than usual, I didn't have time to miss you.
Let's get on with this. Notes and coffee, keep them coming.
School
Defending Yourself and since it's start of term, introductions were the order of the day. Same thing, plus a lecture, in Food Tour of Fandom, and their introductions involved food. I'm sure you're all shocked.
Basic Strategy continued the theme, with students approving of the lecture before telling the rest of the class things they wanted them to know. Petra considered Jace's disposition dubious, Darcy grossed out Loki, Seifer assured Karla he didn't hate all telepaths and pointed out Squall's daddy issues, and Warren was panicked by Karla's cookies...possibly a euphemism. Loki disputed whether Tyrion was actually a dwarf and ended up a TA, while Jack Carter also found himself as a TA.
In Philosophy 101, Lex was drafted as TA, and it turned out class involved less philosophy and more movie watching, much to Bruce and Scully's dismay, but they were still stuck watching the movie, Caroline griped about the movie to Jacob, who was making the most of it.
Butters ate something called Tater Tots in the Cafeteria. Whatever that is. Jim dropped in to talk about finding treasure, and Hank fanboyed the Tater Tots. Right.
Dorms
Natalie was in her room with sheet music, while Topher was cleaning his. Maybe he got gremlin bit. Tony came by to talk about his holidays and get a breakfast making present, Billy came by to play video games and sparks flew. Literally. From the television. Peter came by to talk, but this got cut short by Topher turning into a gopher. Heh.
Anna was in the Second Floor Common Room, perplexed by the number of channels on the television, but then she found hockey. Dave Nelson wanted to know if there was anything interesting on, according to Anna's constant commentary on the game, the hockey apparently. Butter wondered about finding shoes, but Anna was too focused on the hockey to care. Toby also wandered in and they talked about, you guessed it, hockey.
Town
Ender was sweeping up raspberries at Stark Industries when Ben stopped by to talk ships and graduation. Jon had a 'Help Wanted' sign on the window of Fandom Fish'n'Bait, Annie was working a new day at Goodvalor's. Over at Dite's, Karla was thinking of ways to drum up business, and I'm not going to go there, Raven came by to gossip, and Darcy came by looking for candy, I've never heard it called that before.
Finally, Ronan had coffee at the Clinic. What, no cupcakes?
