Fandom Radio :: Saturday, December 3rd.
Good morning, my lovely, lovely Fandomites ♥. Usually, I don't do this sort of thing unless in the company of a beautiful woman, but it appears your usual host for this morning, Big Texas Butters-san, is somehow predisposed, and, somehow, the squirrels managed to acquire an exceptional offering of sake, and so here I am ♥. I'm sure you all have an awful lot on your mind right now, so let's make this short and sweet, ne ♥?
Now, now, now, let's see here...
Things were pretty quiet in the SCHOOLyard yesterday ♥. Well-Behaved Women, a favorite of mine, had a movie day, while Fifteen Labors of Fandom got a pep-talk from Hercules and some doughnuts, too ♥. Don't Be Evil took about things as stress relief...not my perferred form of stress relief, but to each his own ♥.! At the library, Wesley was not pleased with his phone, so he hit the books for some research, and Apathy Club had a meeting, but no one really cared.
In THE DORMS, the Student Council joined together with the Reserve to hold a mixer that doubled as a class for CPR ♥. Plenty of joining and coupling of things going on there, so well done, ducklings ♥. People showed up to mingle and possibly to eat as well, while Wesley and Dave demonstrated the CPR. There were dummies for people to practice with, too, but, if you ask me, it would be much more enlightening to practice with someone else ♥. All the representatives were around if needed, too ♥.
In the morning, James woke up on the floor then got up to write home about it. Then much, much later, Tara-chan's research was distracted occasionally by her kitty-cat and also occasionally by visitors in the form of Susan-chan, whose wondering how Tara's methods of research compare to hers, and Lucrezia-chan, who was hoping that Tara-chan could help her ♥.
Ritchie was having some phone troubles, but Karla-chan didn't seem to have any trouble at all receiving a phone call of her own ♥.
In TOWN, Isabel-chan woke up in Ronan's house and started making breakfast ♥. Parker-chan got the chance to enjoy said breakfast and also catch up with Isabel-chan about all the things that have been happening. And there's also a thoroughly drunk Jamie trying to explode a cheesecake while geese overtake his apartment. I suppose now we all know what he would do for a Klondike bar ♥.
At the portalocity office, there was plenty of praying and drinking, and Parker-chan wanted to know why Trick didn't fess up to who he was and if he could guarantee portals, which he could not. Claudia-chan also came in with questions and a little sympathy that the poor sap was only hired in on Monday. Bod wanted some "alone time" at Luke's, and Toby gave returning alumni a discount at Goodvalor's ♥!
Poor Ben was feeling a little broken up after listening to a message at Stark's, but Ender's usual visit for lunch, with the addition of a hug and distraction, helped smooth things out at least a little ♥. So did, I imagine, the hug that came in from Karla-chan, as well ♥! He didn't get a hug from Topher, though he did feel he should dress more bad-ass like Tony's future boyfriend and there was a lot of talk of clothes and hair....
*sound of a slight sigh*
The Devil's Nest was open early; don't suppose it's already open, do you ♥? No? That's all right, I wanted to sleep more anyway ♥. Jamie took advantage, though; multiple Jamies, for that fact, and Millie-chan shared with Max the list of things she'd never done, which included getting drunk, dancing under the stars and kissing Max, so I certainly hope all three of those things got done that evening ♥! Jaina-chan also came in to see Eric and chat about all the Portalocity business.
Effy-chan watched ducks at the Park, where she was joined by Alex. Anakin was researching these Auditor fellows at the Trooper Station, where Audrey-chan came in to give him a letter with Dale's final message, which sparked talk of multiple universes.
Hope-chan was restless behind the counter at Turtle & Canary, while Kenzi-chan had a sale for first time shoppers at Dite's...what about frequent flyers, duckling ♥?
Then, later in the Park, Freddie and Sam-chan prepared for their skits for the little show that they do ♥, which included Sam-chan and Carly-chan at a pawnshop with mukaluks and a very good reason why not to kiss geese. The broadcast was cut a little short, though, with a lost connection and a sudden inability to call home, which does not bode well, I imagine.
Myria-chan found out she's not a fan of toast over at Art Gallery, and poor Jessica-chan was feeling a bit down at Caritas. Cheer up, Jessica-chan ♥. Things always seem the darkest right before it starts to get bright again, but if you do need any help turning that frown upside down, I know a certain person giving a radio broadcast right now who would love to help ♥.
And, there you have it, there's the news from yesterday. I know I am planning on going back to bed; it's far too early on a Saturday for anything but slee. But take care, Fandom, of both yourself and others ♥.
♥ ♥ ♥ CLICK! ♥ ♥ ♥
