Fandom Radio- Wednesday, October 26

Good morning, Fandom! This is Annie Edison, as always, here with your news for Wednesday. And I'd just like to take a moment to thank everyone who made homecoming possible, and to ask WHO SPIKES GINGER ALE? SERIOUSLY.

SCHOOL

Before Ethics, when we were getting set up for class, Tony apologized to Peter for punching him... How often do guys get punched here? Tony also checked up on Topher to make sure he's okay. Then once class started, we got to discuss Aristotle's theory, and whether we think government should make people better-informed and virtuous, which got some disagreement between Topher and Lucrezia. And then after class, stopped by to catch up with Professor Skywalker before she left.

Bringing Literature to Life- Through Violence! covered the history of dueling, and gave the students weapons to use. Fake, right? I always need to check. But Kenzi and Sam Puckett dueled with a lot of "en garde!" so I'm thinking it at least wasn't serious. And then in How to Survive the Zombie Apocalypse, they learned how to survive a zombie attack in the bathroom. I know, I don't like thinking about it either.

Rinoa was restless and organizing shelves in the library. Sounds like a good way to deal with that, actually.

DORMS

Let's start off our dorms news today by talking about the second floor common room, where Ender spent this afternoon watching a documentary about extraterrestrial life. I'm thinking it'd be a really different documentary if the makers had ever visited this place. And I'm probably right, since Ender explained his experience with aliens to Topher. Quinn sent out an email to cancel Kappa Delta Gremlin today, and Luke who I maybe owe a little for telling me about that drink spiking thing stopped by Percy's room to reenact his crowning on Saturday and talk about what happened on his last trip home.

Finally, Tara hung up posters to announce a trip to the Renaissance Festival this weekend. That's what, that thing with the wenches and grog and turkey on a stick, right? Or something? Don't ask me, ask Tara, and if you're interested, you should definitely check those posters out!

TOWN

The clinic was open today, and the droids at Goodvalor's maybe had a little problem with the fact that I'm maybe still possibly trailing glitter all over. I stand by the glitter moosen and always will, and Petra, if you didn't get one, call me.

*chittering*

Don't you start. You look better with a little sparkle on you.

Raven was worrying and tidying Dite's, and George apparently is not a fan of Hannah Montana, since she was destroying her CD's at Groovy Tunes. Yeesh. Everyone's a critic.

So that's all for me. Have a great week, everybody, and if you follow the trail of glitter... you can probably track me down.
