It is Friday, me hearties, which means it's time fer yer very favorite--and I'm not, don't tell me--radio broadcaster of the week, Captain Jack Sparrow, bringing ye the news of yesterday before it becomes tomorrow. But you wouldn't want to miss today. I hear there's a carnival.
In classes, the Elements of Friendship explored the keystone o' friendship if you're an eight year old wench, the slumber party. There were makeovers, ghost stories, Truth or Dare, and pillow fights before lightning struck a tree 'n the class had t' engage in construction so that the party wasn't ruined. Good thing ye were prepared from all of last week's do-gooding, savvy? Miley was texting to her friend about the slumber party, which meant she had to explain texting to Pinkie. Sensitivity Training learned about gender identity--I thought people this old would know the answer t' that by now...Tropes 'n Scope learned about romantic tropes and then practicing meeting cute. Who's cute? I like cute! I end up with "strangely violent" but I like cute!
Anakin discovered that his office had been covered in pink fuzzy bunnies, but his daughter was more excited about the child-sized drumset in the corner. So...aspirin all around? Neal, whose office had been filled wit' green Jello, stopped by t' wonder how Jamie Madrox got a job 'n to offer up his TA Kenzi t' clean up the mess. She stopped by a bit later.
The Reserves mingled around while Raven 'n Warren talked about giant roosters 'n then everyone was attacked by Golems! I assume that's bad. Wesley got interrogated about his injuries by Karla 'n Kenzi. Katniss got the tiny child t' trade her drumsticks fer a cupcake--well played, wench--and Pinkie loved what Anakin had done to his office so much that Kenzi offered to transform Pinkie's office into something just like it. Hercules discovered that his office had been turned into a miniature KFC, so I think we all know where t' go wit' any rubber chickens now.
Over in the dorms, Petra was selling homecoming tickets. Jack o' the Carters wanted his name removed from homecoming court consideration before his dog bought a ticket for him...

No, I'm sure ye got that right. I'm just a mite...stunned. Bart wondered what homecoming was and then what homecoming court was, and Petra made him promise t' be nice to her roommate if he won. Just off the lobby, the Student Council was apparently covering anything that came within a hundred yards o' them in glitter. Quinn 'n Annie wonder about how t' incorporate Joni Mitchell into the decor, Rilla brought sparkly maple leaf garland and admiration fer Toby's beaver--

Ahem. That weren't professional. Petra wanted t' keep a glitter moose when the dance is over, 'n she and Annie pinkie swear not to use zombies as a theme for any manner of party, and Toby arrived bearing moose-antler headbands, which most of the council was wearing by the end o' their decorating party. Rilla wondered if she could find a dress t' match it 'n Petra got t' hear about the shop where he found them. Caroline weren't impressed with glitter moose, 'n preferred discussin' the food options with Petra t' decorating large animals. Dave, however, was very excited t' decorate a moose, even covering it in maple leaves so that no one will doubt its Canadian authenticity. Speakin' of leaves, Wesley's were so bad that Annie steered him toward stencils, and Petra noted how beat up he was, heard about the reserves, and added "golems" to "zombies" as themes that aren't happenin' while she's on the council.
And in more glitter news, Squall was futiley tryin' to vacuum it up from the carpet in his room. Seifer told him it were a lost cause 'n to just enjoy a prank war--Squall told him t' grow up--and then Rinoa stopped by fer makeouts that ended abruptly when Squall learned she'd been doin' a spell wit' Seifer. Probably not a euphemism. Katniss was humming as she cleaned her room--no notes on glitter, but I'm bettin' it's everywhere--before Karla came by and they came t' a tentative manner o' truce. Wesley asked her t' homecoming, 'n she and Blysse make plans fer dress shopping.
Early this morning, Ender 'n Ben were...aye, I don't care about that.
'n finally in town, the part I care about, Kenzi was plotting at Caritas--mayhaps about Wesley, or just plotting as it's Kenzi--Jon--new guy?--celebrated his birthday at Chilly Boulder with a huge sundae after waking up Leda who was sleeping in the park like some manner of vagrant. Sov took apart a computer in Stark Industries, Fraser repaired things at MHA, and Scully was invited t' a slumber party the next time the nurses host one. Can I come too?
