Fandom Radio, Thursday, October 20th

Hey, good morning, folks! I'm in kind of a rush right now, so let's just get around to the notes, shall we?

*chittering*

Yeah, yeah. Give me the notes. Strange Creatures of the Deep did the freaky angler fish thing. As per usual, I wonder about this school's funding, because they went back down in the submersible.

Likewise on the scale of 'where do we get money for this', Tricks, Cons and Bamboozles had this whole thing about stealth that featured green security lasers. I'm just going to say that's the Danger Shop at work, because otherwise I don't even know. Kenzi the TA stopped by Neal the teacher to chat about fall breaks and Habitat for Humanity and all of that helpful work we did. The Arts of War and Peace discussed concealing one's motives, which of course features a heavy discussion. The students are encouraged to wage war, which I'm sure isn't going to end in bloodshed at all.

Jamie Madrox thought he'd do a musical number in class to illustrate his point about how people should know how to date. Yeah, vital life lessons there, kids. Karla and George discuss their mutual bad feelings about the whole idea - at least he isn't sending you guys off to war - though Karla's later conversation with Squall proved that she wasn't sure why.

The kids got around to dating, prompting some of them to try and escape. At least Claudia seemed to be hoping to magically teleport herself back to Switzerland, but Jamie said no-go.

In clubs news, Petra has the usual plate full of donuts for Pride club. The donuts went like hotcakes, of course, and then people assaulted one another with make-up. Billy, the old trendsetter, decides to try out a few lovely shades of nail polish under Petra's supervision, and then folks sat around and talked club business for a while.

Gabrielle reshelved the books in the library, and that's the last bit of good news we have in this section, because the teachers returned to find out what Professor Madrox has done to their offices. Cindy is so pissed off by her office she decides to throw a tiara at Professor Madrox's head, but news states he got out with his life. Principal Winchester was also not pleased with her Hello Kitty-themed office. Whatever Hello Kitty is...

DORMS

Toby sold Homecoming tickets out in the lobby. Hope you guys got yours! In more super-exciting Homecoming news, Caroline and Jake sorted out their difficulties about whether or not they're going to the dance together. Well, I sure am glad that got solved.

In non-Homecoming news, Lucrezia spent the night in her room, mending her clothes. Much to the befuddlement of Mercy, who didn't think peopl did that anymore in this time in place - hey, not everyone can afford new clothes all the time - and intrigued Bruce. Finally, Wesley came back to Fandom looking more than a little beat-up, only to find his girlfriend turning back into a human being. She was naked at the time, so I think we can all guess how that worked out.

TOWN

And here's those of you who actually earned a living today! Lion-o fought about the proper building order for burgers at Cafe Luke's, Quinn dealt with the Homecoming issue, Nathan turned up at Caritas to find the zombies playing scrabble, and presumably got drunk, while at the competing establishment, Jessica was in a good mood and Eric tried to get a suit. Say that ten times fast. Finally, Karla started some contest about naming some rooster or another, and got some entries from Kenzi, who's going to be using her impressive expertise in the realm of marital aids and extramarital aiding at Dite's from now on in.

And that's all for you guys today; hope you're ready for tomorrow's broadcast.
