Fandom Radio- Wednesday, September 21
Good morning, Fandom! This is Annie coming to you from WTFH with all your news for today. And I want to take a moment just to say thank you for everyone who voted for me, and if you didn't... Well, you should have. And you're just going to have to deal with that.
SCHOOL
In Ethics today we talked about money, with discussions on what money can or shouldn't buy and whether you should be able to sell your organs for money. Okay, whether you're pro or con selling your organs, just know that you've got a limited reserve of stuff in there. Bringing Literature to Life- Through Violence!- You know, we're still not lacking for class titles with exclamation points. Anyway, they got a lecture about that Scottish play and discussed prophecy and destiny versus free will. And then Surviving the Zombie Apocalypse got tips on how to pack light and then got to shop in a Wal-Mart infested with zombies. As you do.
Rinoa was quiet in the library, and hopefully that ended by the time Kenzi showed up with ice cream. The sorority had its first meeting today, with Quinn and Rilla letting us settle in a little. That's right, I'm in a sorority! We had time to socialize, with Sov introducing the- themselves? Okay- to Hanna, and Tony was wondering why girls want to join the frat, so he and Quinn talked about ways to maybe involve both groups. And then we got to introduce ourselves because somehow I am still meeting people. We're not a big school, how does that happen?
Professor Lannister had Dae- Wow, that is not a fun name. Dane-er-is? He had her in his office wondering who knew about her being here, which I guess was a little bit of a misunderstanding because they're from the same place but different times. I don't think I knew that could happen. Looks like I learned something new today.
DORMS
There's not much going on in the dorms today. Or the squirrels weren't paying attention, or we were boring, or the squirrels have notes and they're all hidden in a hole in a tree somewhere. Who knows.
Ender shared some news with Ben about what's been going on in Ben's universe, which apparently wasn't great. Sorry. Susan was checking herself out in the mirror when Dane-er-is came by to talk about hair and their names. Well... I can say 'Susan.' Nathan was smoking and texting.
No, I still can't make a smoking common room happen, Nathan. Just so you know.
TOWN
Hermione was doing research at Cabot and Associates, Mary turned back from a human after being a bird for a while at the hotel... If I ever turn into anything, I hope there are absolutely no squirrels around. I'm just saying. Spock was working on a new experiment at Stark Industries, and he took all proper safety precautions. I'm sure I speak for all of us who weren't turned into anything or burned alive when I say thank you for that, Spock. And I was at Goodvalor's, where we had nerf steaks on the menu. It didn't look like anything that used to be a toy. I know that much.
