Fandom Radio, Saturday, July 23rd

This is Fandom's Pirate Radio, WTFH. I'm Dave Nelson, here with all the news from yesterday the squirrels could write down in English in a clear and impressive defiance of the usual natural order of things. You'd think that the bitter cold outside would slow them down, but our intrepid squirrels are better than that.

School

The Danger Shop was a pair of rooftops with a highwire between them for Defying Death in honor of a movie. The students could either watch the movie or walk the line.

Computers went for something slightly less life threatening with chat rooms. Also, hot cocoa, but that didn't pose a significant health risk. Anyway, the students ventured into chat rooms for most of class.

True Heroism talked costuming today. While there was some time for chatting in person, most of the time was spent making costumes and showing them off.

Gym was basically cancelled because, apparently, Mr Gardner is in space. So he left instructions for the students to run laps.

Since apparently a lot of books were misshelved, Wesley spent his time in the library reshelving books.

No cupcakes in the offices yesterday, but Shunsui was napping in his. Which I suppose is something.

Dorms

Kate D was reading in her room when she noticed her roommate, Ryan starting to pack to leave because of the cold.

Over on the deck, my good friend Butters was selling hot chocolate. And he felt bad for Chuck, whose nose was apparently freezing, so Chuck got on on the house.

As usual, there was an iCarly webcast in the first floor rec room. Hannah Montana was around before the show, exciting Sam and causing Freddie to offer her toast. Kenzi - along with someone specified as "animal!Bo," but I really don't know what that means - thought Hannah looked familiar. And Kenzi also promised Sam she'd come down for the show more often.

The show started with an opening bit before getting to special guest Hannah Montana, a video, other guests, and a new segment called Messing With Jack. Then they talked to someone named Gibby, finished the show, and did the after show.

Town

Bod didn't mind the cold at Cafe Luke's as he got nachos together before Caroline stopped in for some of those nachos and a conversation with Bod.

Seifer tried to take a nap in a heated Groovy Tunes before Rinoa came in to talk.

Harper pulled out the sweater stock at Things Reborn and had a sale, and Jack C walked in to buy some warm clothes.

And Caritas saw umbrellas in all drinks as Jessica's method of dealing with the cold.

And that wraps things up for me this week. Stay tuned all week for continuing coverage of 'It's Really Really Cold Watch 2011" on WTFH, Fandom Radio.
