Fandom Radio :: Monday, July 18.

Do-do-dooo! It's the big Texas Butters Show! And here he is, Biiiiiig Texas Butters!

Well, howdy, there, pardners, I'm Biiiiig Texas Butters! And these are my squirrels, Eenie, Meenie, Minie, and Moe! Happy Traaaaails to you! ♪

Not a whole lot of crazy stuff seemed to happen this weekend, which is a little sad, because the last time sure was fun, but I guess that means we just have a regular radio show, so let me make it a little more interesting with one of my favorite songs.

Oh, boy! Now we're really in the mood for a great radio!

It's Sunday, so not much happened at SCHOOL, 'cept Raven workin' at the library an' bein' all dark and goth and stuff.

Most of the things that happened today happened in THE DORMS. Faramir was cookin' up some breakfast and tea in the fifth floor common room. The smell caught the attention of Bod's girlfriend, who's a kitty right now, promptin' him and Faramir to talk all about animal transformations an' how they sure are glad they haven't been gremlin bit yet. Alexander also had a person transformed into an animal with him, but it was his roommate, not his girlfriend, and he was a puppy, not a cat, so they talk about how animal transformations seem to be goin' around. I wouldn't mind bein' a pony again, if they are! Ooh, or maybe a hamster! A flying squirrel!

The other Kate, the one who isn't a cat right now, made something that smelled like pie but didn't look a whole lot like pie in the second floor common room. My roommate, Sam, who's not a puppy, made fun of her lumpy pie a little, ha ha, before they started talkin' about home! Hey, I ended up talkin' to Kate about home, too, but that was after warning her about You Know Who's terrible cookin'. I don't think Kate's pie was probably as bad as You Know Who's cookies, but I wasn't about to try it, nuh-uh. Bruce was a little braver and ate some of Kate's pie, an' explained that some of us weren't so willin' on account of the fact that some people, like You Know Who, is probably tryin' to poison us all with cooking.

Miley and Caroline were talkin' all about the SUPER SEKRIT birthday present that Caroline's gettin' Jacob for his birthday, and since it's super sekrit, I won't say what it is but I will say that they also talked about people bein' kidnapped in all these places the island keeps visiting.

You Kno--errr, Karla returned from her trip only to mostly get more clothes, and then apparently, everyone in the world showed up, which I don't think is true, because I know I sure didn't. But Warren did, on account of bein' her boyfriend, and he offered to go with her to help keep a bunch of Black Widows from bein' targeted on her homeworld. Peter showed up to make fun of her, but wound up gettin' a probably pretty boring lecture on somethin' called Glacian politics; Wesley got the crash course on 'em, too. Tony was there, too, and started talkin' about computers, probably, but I can't read the rest of the notes, so I bet he got a politics lecture, too. Emma wants to make sure Karla doesn't go and do anythin' dumb and so she demands a Ring so she can keep track of Karla, but I thought rings just meant you couldn't do anything fun with your boyfriend or girlfriend anymore. Raven wanted to help, too, and learned that someone named Uncle Saetan can't help in a situation like this. Mr. Priest called, too, and Karla told him about Emma gettin' a ring, so does that mean they're engaged now? Or at least promised to each other? Does Warren know about his girlfriend being all promised to someone else? I don't know; maybe I need a lecture on Glacian politics, too, but, either way, someone named Dinah called, too, and got caught all up on stuff, so she probably understands better'n I do.

An' over in TOWN, it's business as usual at a lot of the business, ha ha! Dolf got help from a really big dog at Turtle & Canary, but not Blysse's really big dog, a different one! Mr. Mitchell wasn't too happy about Kepper of Animals playin' at the movie theater, but I don't see why; I think that movie looks real funny! I wish I'd known it was playing, and I'd have gone and seen it!

And then thing were quiet at both the Devil's Nest, which is hirin', and Caritas, where Mr. Priest was testin' drinks with silly names.

And so that's all the news for yesterday; I hope you enjoyed hearin' it as much as I enjoyed readin' it and just remember, if a cookie has tartar sauce, just say No. Have a great day, everyone! Big Texas Butters out!
