Fandom Radio, Saturday, July 16th
Good morning, everyone. You're listening to Fandom's Pirate Radio, WTFH. I'm Dave Nelson with yesterday's news.
Leading off as always, School news....
Defying Death discussed a man who built himself an airship out of a lawnchair and balloons. And then the students did the same.
Computers led students into addictive websites and dared them to escape before discussing why they're popular.
In Phys Ed, the students grabbed some basketballs and a partner to play HORSE. After class, Jack C tried to explain his absence last week with the fact that he was a dog.
True Heroism talked about perseverance as a true measure of heroism. THe students talked before Hercules gave them a series of tasks that he would interfere in. First they had to open crates to make s'mores, which gave Kate D and Percy a chance to snipe at each other. Then, they had to build a fire. When Luke used a lighter, he ended up talking Mythology with Hercules. And then people made s'mores.
Wesley was sleepy and had tea in the library and Principal Winchester had her little girl at her office hours.
Enough with school, now to Dorms news....
Not much going on aside from the weekly iCarly broadcast, this time taking place in the first floor rec room, but that seemed busy enough to make up for everything else. Pre-show, Freddie and Sam discussed tomato trees, whether they exist, and if they could exist in Fandom. Juliet and Jeremy, who is a marmoset, were doing yoga while waiting for the show to start, and she got some compliments from Freddie. After the show started, Sam and Carly did an opening, there was a video, and Juliet did a monologue while having tomatoes thrown at her. Someone named Spencer had a word, and someone named Gibby dressed like Carmen Miranda to dance with Spencer. And I'm beginning to think this recap has gotten away from me. Anyway, they closed the show and hung out afterwards.
And in Town news....
Arya did inventory and cleaning at Coyote Medicine. Seifer was in a bad mood at Groovy Tunes. Bod was hard at work despite having a Kate Cat around at Cafe Luke's. And Harper was in a good mood at Things Reborn because someone named Posh Spice named her kid "Harper Seven" because of someone named Becks. Fortunately, that's my last note because I've just been completely confused by two segments in a row.
