Fandom Radio, Saturday, July 9th
Good morning, Fandom. This is Dave Nelson with your WTFH pirate news.
InSchool news....
Defying Death - which is a chipper name for a class - talked about and demonstrated skydiving from a cargo plane for their introductions.
True Heroism focused on introductions when facing an enemy and, also, oiling your pecs. The students had a little time to talk before they went for the catchphrase introduction themselves.
Computers 101 took a slightly different take on introductions by also making usernames and passwords.
Phys Ed used dodgeballs to get people to introduce themselves, only it was a way to determine order instead of being a threat. And then they played dodgeball for real.
In the library, Wesley was reading a book about how demons make babies, which... Well, frankly, why do we even have that book lying around? That's just weird. Marshall may have felt the same way when he stopped in for some chemistry books and Wesley tried to hide his book.
In the offices, Oz was decorating with weapons while Pinkie Pie dictated a letter to herself.
In Dorms news....
Peter had loud music and a bad attitude, causing Topher to stop by and offer some help. Kate G also felt inspired to talk to Peter because his music was so loud and talked about how she graduated recently. Kenzi stopped by to talk about Percy and the radio.
Oh, okay. The squirrels just handed me a note. It says "Hi Kenzi." So, just in case you didn't believe they listen in on your conversations, write notes, and hand them to people like me.... Well, you should now.
Kate G also spent some time practicing in the salle when Luke stopped by to catch her up on why Percy's mad at him and why he did what he did. That sounds ominous.
Miley listened to some Justin Bieber, which Surreal didn't appreciate. Possibly because the storyline of his movie is tough to follow.
In the second floor common room, Karla and a baby cheetah baked some cupcakes. She got to tell Wesley all about her baking and her jungle cat friend before Warren stepped in to apologize for Karla's baking. Hank mocked Wesley's failure to escape the cooking, then got a serious warning about it. Tony was more focused on the animal than the food and suggested that Karla keep something for the cheetah to cover up with whenever he's human again. Warren explained to Tony that the cheetah isn't even somebody they know yet and Hank assumed the cheetah was someone's pet.
Warren gave warning to my new friend, Butters, that the cupcakes were not to be eaten for his own good, and he took that advice to heart when Karla offered him some. Hank and Butters discussed the desserts while Warren tried to back out of eating any himself. Hank tried to steal one of Warren's feathers, but Warren wasn't so disturbed by that to make him neglect warning Kenzi about the cupcakes. Instead of eating any, Kenzi delved into the mystery of the cheetah's identity and figured out it was her roommate. Hank tried to demonstrate his knowledge of baking and also of ocelots vs cheetahs and which one Kenzi's roommate was.
Nathan was enjoying a, uh, illegal substance in his room before Ramona joined him - and I must say, I'm very disappointed in you, Ramona - before talking about what's going to happen with the other half of Nathan's room now that it's empty.
The weekly iCarly broadcast happened in the rec room this time, with the standard pre-show with some chatting with the eponymous Carly. Ariel and Hank both expressed interest in something relating to pudding, and then the shw started, with a puppy turning into Jack Carter and Scully debating something about numbers and New York City.
Asuna randomly appeared in her room.
And on the fifth floor, Squall watched some bad TV when Rinoa stopped by and they failed at a usually adorable romantic trope.
And finally, Town news....
At Cafe Luke's, Bod was happy to be in England when Kate G stopped in for an old timey England date, some dessert, and some talking about Mitchell.
Seifer was reading at Groovy Tunes. Harper dug out old clothes to put on display at Things Reborn. Hope was unproductive at Turtle & Canary.
And Rikku was at Fixer Uppers, going through various parts from various monsters when a dog came in, dragging various parts from a specific scooter. Finally, Rude stopped in, which made Rikku very happy.
That's all for today. I'm Dave Nelson. Thank you for listening to Fandom's favorite news radio station, WTFH.
