Fandom Radio :: Monday, July 4th.
Do-do-dooo! It's the big Texas Butters Show! And here he is, Biiiiiig Texas Butters!
Well, howdy, there, pardners, I'm Biiiiig Texas Butters! And these are my squirrels, George Washington and Thomas Jefferson! ♪ Happy Traaaaails to you! ♪ And a happy Fourth of July to my fellow Americans, even if we're not really in America right now and haven't been for quite some time. All I know is that I sure am glad to be a citizen of such a great country, and that we managed to keep the United States from being takin' over by Jersery, but there will be more on that in a second. We've got some other news to get to first!
And a nice patrioticand SO NSFW song!
Boy, that was great! America's the greatest country in the whole world! Although Canada's okay, too, they gave us Terrance and Philip. And bacon.
Now, since it's Sunday, there's never much SCHOOL news, but Raven was in the library, and it seemed pretty quiet, probably from the storm, but that didn't keep her or Miss Belle from comin' in.
As far as stuff goin' on in the DORMS, Percy came in and got all mad about what Luke did and there was yelling and shouting and storming out an everything!
Caroline had much better time; she was brushin' her pretty hair and had a Bobby McC puppy, whatever that is! Miley came by to say hi and get to talkin' to Caroline about all sorts of stuff, like turning into animals and boyfriends and pet names. Then Jakey-wakey comes around and tricks the puppy out of the room so he can talk to Caroline, and they talk about time stuff and birthdays and that makes Caroline sad because she shouldn't really celebrate birthdays or something, but I think that sounds just silly. You should always celebrate birthdays, they're the best! They even give you your own song at Bennigans! It goes a little something like this:
♪ Happy, happy birthday, from Bennigan's to you!
For family fun and great food, too, come on down to... Bennigan's
Buffalo wings and partridge scones, plus cru found at... Bennigan's
So come and eat at... Bennigan's.
You'll love all our... shenanigans. ♪
It's a real nice song. And speakin' of shenanigans, Sam and Topher got into some laser tag ones up on the sixth floor. I wonder if that's why that one guy told me to avoid it...But I love laser tag!
Oh, well. In the Fourth Floor Common Room, that one guy, his name's Seifer, I guess, was eatin' cereal in his underpants and watching that really bad show about New Jersey. Freddie wasn't too happy about Seifer not bein' dressed and everything, and, well, I got lost again, and told Seifer about that time Jersey tried to take over all the United States, but they didn't do it, thank gosh! So remember as you celebrate America's independence today that we could all be orange with poofs in our hair and talkin' about muff cabbage.
If anyone knows what muff cabbage is, please tell me. I still haven't figured it out.
Marshall came in, too, and wondered if he missed some shirtless tradition, but him and Seifer bond over having names and a dislike for bad TV.
After laser tag, Topher was pokin' around on his computer and that kept him pretty busy for a while. He must have been playing Salutations Feline Island Adventure. I sure love that game.
Bod got hit on the head with a book before Kate shows up with cookies, which made everything all better.
Over in TOWN, good ol' Jack McC was a little overwhelmed by the never-ending freezer at Luke's Diner. I would be, too. Who knows what you might find in there, oh boy. At Fixer Uppers, Jim was gettin' ready to go to war against the sign and, oh, man, I better make sure I arm myself before I go in today, too! I don't want any trouble with any signs! Firekeeper and her great big doggie, though, didn't have any trouble with the horses at the Gig. She just brought 'em inside and had apples and told stories about the new students. That does sound real nice. I love apples, too!
Mr. Alistair went around his apartment, all touching stuff and everything, but the squirrels wants to let him know that he doesn't judge him. Neither do I. You love what you love. And Mr. Morrigan went and claimed an abandoned shack in the woods, but that doesn't sound like much fun. It sounds kinda scary. I bet it's haunted.
That's all the notes we have for today, it looks like! Oh, boy! Big Texas Butters out! Let's go fry up some hamburgers and have some brewskies! Hooray, America!
