Fandom Radio, Saturday, July 2nd
Good morning, Fandom. You're listening to WTFH, Fandom's Pirate Radio. I'm Dave Nelson, here to welcome any and all new residents who happen to have radios by telling them about what people did yesterday. Because that's a thing we do here.
Let's start with a tiny bit of School news....
While manning the library, Wesley made the appropriate decision to read a book.
Yes, new students at Fandom High, all of your most exciting adventures just like that can and will be reported on the radio.
Over to the Dorms....
Jeremy took over the fifth floor common room so he could plan out everything he needed to tell his new little sibling today. Topher was thrown by such near-studying during summer break week, but he eventually joined in on brainstorming about what should be told the first day and the possibility that people might not be themselves on newbie day. I certainly hope that hasn't happened. Ariel gave Jeremy some advice on presentation, then offered Jeremy a discount at Pixie Dust since she's the manager there now.
Sookie returned to her dorm room after a trip home and she brought some birthday presents she received while she was there. Turns out, she had a brand new present waiting for her from Eric. And once she got settled, she had a text message conversation with Kennedy.
Still in their rooms, Dru was packing up to go home and Annie was also working out a list of things to tell her little sibling. Sam L was curious about what she was doing so they discussed the list, not dying, and personal experience with maiming. That's the horrifying quality of conversation you can get here, new students.
Momoko celebrated her birthday in her room with local foods when Lion-O brought her a birthday cupcake, the baking of which he used as proof of not being a little kid. And speaking of baking, Jaime was doing some in the third floor common room to distract himself from something.
And finally, some Town news....
Bod was stunned by the changes at Cafe Luke's, Seifer blended together varying musical tastes at Groovy Tunes, and Harper... um, had maple leaf things for sale at Things Reborn for some reason I certainly don't know. Rikku was glad that FIxer Uppers didn't disappear while she was away when Topher came in looking for a job. He and Rikku also traded mechanical spider parts for explosives...
Wait, what? I think I'll spend most of today away from my dorm room....
Chloe arrived in town and crashed in her hotel room, and Shunsui was ready for a drinking party if anyone showed up. And if they didn't, he was ready to drink everything by himself.
And that's it for me this week. Once again, welcome to the new students and teachers. I hope this introduction to life in Fandom was sufficient and not frightening.
