Fandom Radio, Tuesday, June 28th
Hello and good morning, lovely people of Fandom! I hope you've gotten enough sleep last night, because the heat sure as hell isn't making it any better outside. And because of that, I won't be wasting your time a second longer than I have to - not that listening to WTFH is ever a waste.
SCHOOL
With school out for the week, all we've got at headquarters is William shelving books, and Karla stopping by to say hello; she's friendly like that.
DORMS
There was a little bit more activity in the realm of the air conditioning yesterday-- Nathan crashed the fourth floor common room. Very exciting. Caroline stops by and talks reading skills and probation officers with him - ah, I knew we had to have a few juvie customers around here. Nathan then goes ahead and mocks Elphaba for enjoying books. Seriously, there's nothing wrong with being well-educated. To finish up the conga line, we've got Ramona, who proclaims that she's bored and that Nathan's friends have indecipherable accents-- or at least one of them.
You heard it here first.
TOWN
Up at the Arms, Alice and Professor Ghanima discuss parenthood and cardgames. Elsewhere, we've got old saps stopping by for some new juice: Hannibal is in town, and apparently he's a former student. Chuck stopped by to talk depressing lovelives with him, which I'm sure you were all dying to know about.
Kate Daniels headed out to the beach, which was mighty full for a day that warm. Sam LaCroix was there, for example, though the notes don't tell me why, besides that it's got something to do with stealing Kate's clothes. But that's just hearsay, folks. Juliet just wanted to borrow Kate's sunblock, but as it turns out, she doesn't have any.
My buddy Butters had the Fixer Uppers shift again. Hope it was productive, Butters! Vincent, the new guy in town, opens up Cafe Luke's for the first time. Get your food here, guys. Jack Carter came by and as it turns out, they're from the same place, different timeline. Painkillers are on me, I know how that feels. In other work news, Angelina was early at the Gig, Momoko got some copies made at Cabot's and Alex Russo cleaned up the Magic Box, starting withthe bottom the back. Also, Karla's shift was on like always, though this time, our mutual friend Tony was nice enough to step in, see how she was doing.
Finally, in bar news, Jake got a Stetson at Caritas. Congratulations. Jack Sparrow worshipped coconuts with his voice at the Devil's Nest, where Sookie also tried to talk the proprietor into letting her have a birthday shot. Hey, I hear Caritas doesn't have a drinking age? Mister Northman was mostly busy texting anyway.
And that's all the news that's fit for the air. Have a nice Tuesday!
