Fandom Radio, Saturday, June 18th
Good morning, Fandom. This is Dave Nelson for WTFH, Fandom's Pirate Radio, and since the squirrels seem to be wearing little army helmets today for reasons I haven't figured out yet, I'm more than a little concerned. But let's look past that concern and focus on a simpler time, when the squirrels weren't wearing any hats at all as far as I know: yesterday.
School news to start off the day....
In Computers, Mr Winchester had a headache, so the class looked up pictures on the internet without reminding people to use Safe Search. I don't know what that means, but it sounds important.
Life's a Circus included a lecture about the sideshow and students using their sideshow talents. Mr Grayson was available for people to talk to, and Mercy took advantage of that by explaining that she'd been... well, shot on Thursday and couldn't really participate much.
Doctor Richards wasn't in Astrophysics, so his students watched a show.
Wesley was in a great mood at the library and even whistled a bit.
And Mister Stark was in his office reading recipes to his plants.
Dorms and Cabin news now....
Topher was spending some time on his computer before Peter stopped over to chat. Nathan was doing his best to take care of Ramona while she was a blue chick over in his cabin. Topher stopped by to threaten Nathan to make sure he didn't eat Ramona... Which I suppose is a good reminder to everyone that when people turn into animals, remember, they're still people inside. Simon was a little more proactive when he checked in on Ramona, when he demanded Nathan hand her over before he vanished.
I don't think I realized my big sibling would be so popular as a baby chicken.
Mercy wasn't feeling great, so she tried to distract herself with a book when Caroline came by for a talk.
Yesterday afternoon at the main campfire, Jeremy didn't actually have the fire going, but he did have mimosa cupcakes. And then Juliet dropped in for cupcakes and a chat about parties.
The Hanson campfire was host to Freddie and Sam's weekly webcast, with the typical pre-show setup and the much less typical gremlins stealing their equipment.
And in Town....
Cable was apparently considering installing turrets at Wellspring Arms, which certainly makes me want to answer the help wanted sign. Seifer hid out at Groovy Tunes after Computers class. Guilty as Charged recorded a sale when Jack C bought a scooter. And Bod was being friendly with the staff at Luke's after his week off.
Harper celebrated the town's cowboy theme at Things Reborn. Mary had to talk Gunther out of his more flammable instincts when it came to dessert at the Arms. Jenny was smoking at Pixie Dust. And Jessica was playing with a new phone over at Caritas, so when Jack P stopped in, she explained Angry Birds.
That was yesterday's news. Now excuse me while I run off quickly since I think the squirrels are arming themselves. Because I'd feel much safer around a molotov cocktail if the person throwing it actually could throw it.
