Fandom Radio, Thursday, June 2nd

Good morning, Fandom. It's a bright new day, and we've collected quite the bright share of-- *thwock* ow --notes for you. Haven't we, squirrels, who need my eyes and who seem to have mistaken me for a pirate?

SCHOOL

Right. Well, folks, we're kicking off with the ever-electrifying How to Survive a Zombie Apocalypse class! Columbus told us all about the staggering importance of ziploc bags, though of course we started off with some cardio - anything other than running ourselves into exhaustion would just be silly and impractical, wouldn't it? Especially since we spent the rest of the class running through Wal-Mart. Surfing watched a video; most people weren't asleep by the time they got to the actual surfing part. Bravo. Sex and Candy also went for the 'let's watch a movie' thing, with a rapt audience pinning their eyes to the screen.

And to finish up all the news that's just flowing straight out of the school building, Gabrielle was on staff at the library. No word on whether the books were in it for the kill this time, but we'll keep you posted.

DORMS

As for the rest of the campus, my good friend Karla was packing up quickly for some no-doubt noble purpose. It worried Warren - possibly because she was talking about something straight out of one of those Dusk novels. Raven checked up on her, too, and got the whole shebang about the vampires. Gabrielle ducked out of the library for a sec to let her know Professor Anakin was looking for her - hope you're not in trouble, buddy! And last to join the parade was someone on the phone. I know I'm curious.

My fellow co-host and trusted friend Butters sang and alphabetized in the second floor common room, because he's a civilised and helpful member of society. Elphaba stopped by to admire his aid to humanity.

TOWN

Look at you busy worker bees! Professor Alex surfed the web at work, Linda played Pink Floyd, William had coconuts and Alexander ripped bodices. Oh, and Lion-O is celebrating the return of the napkin dispensers. Hip-hoy!

Professor Anakin trained his noble crew of cops - or at least Ralph - in the art of making good coffee. Charlie turned up soon after, but he seemed a little confused as to his whereabouts. I'm sure you'll sort it out, Charles. Romance was in the air at Fast Eddies - along with the smell of bowling sweat - where Caroline and Jacob had a date.

Nathan is tending bar the only way he knows how - by enjoying himself. Ramona stops by to tickle his creativity, hoping they'll fabricate a new drink. Who knows. It might be a winner. But not as much as anyone attending Professor Alex Cabot's class, because it's always useful to know an amendment or two.

That was refreshing, squirrels. Keep up the good work - those acorns are a lot more use in your bellies, right?

OW.

Have a good day, Fandom! Throw an acorn at a squirrel! They love that kind of thing.
