Fandom Radio, Monday, May 9th, 2011
Morning Fandom. For those of you who don't recognize my voice, this is Luke Castellan with your morning news on this, our first day of summer classes. Hrm...summer classes seems a bit unfair. Whatever, better than where I would be if I wasn't here.
Anyway, here's what happened yesterday.
School
Belle, the new librarian, was checking out the library. Hermione came by to see how the library held up since she's been gone and talked to Belle about her old library. Dru was practicing at the gun range and talked guns with Reno.
Dorms
Peter was writing in his room and new girl Kate was warding her room. Welcome, new kids. Jake and Caroline did some couplely things in Jake's room while Kate Gregson and Bod were doing coupley things in her room. Juliet is no longer a dog and Sov was nice enough to fill her in on what she missed while she was gone. Annie was decorating her room and Stan informed her that labeling her food will just make people steal it. He...he's not wrong.
Nathan was watching the news on the fourth floor for all the wrong reasons. Angelica was scarred by Nathan's...Nathan-ness but luckily Ariel was nice and welcoming at least. Sam and Nathan bitched about porn...what there is to bitch about porn I don't know, and Ariel gave Sam some welcoming advice. Nathan and Kate talked about misshapen nipples, gross, and Ariel was disappointed Nathan wasn't a new kid. Ramona stole some of Nathan's chips and he tried to get her to tell him what she'd do if she had a girl in bed. Can't blame him for wondering about that.
Toby was eating leftover pizza and channel surfing on the fifth floor, which naturally gained the attention of a ton of people. He reluctantly decides to share his pizza with Butters, who has a strange name. Alex was much nicer about sharing his spring rolls. Butters was happy that he recognized Alex and got some spring rolls. Toby assured Sookie that he's not new to TV and Alex was shocked to find out some people around here don't know how to use TVs. Man, if I didn't know any better I'd say you were a son of Hermes. Alex freaks Tony out by waving at him and Toby told Tony about the weird stuff on TV he's found so far. Freddie just hoped they weren't watching the Dingo Channel, whatever the hell that is.
Still on the fifth floor, Alex told Gabrielle that Toby can't decide what to watch on TV and Toby lamented to Gabrielle about not being able to find anything decent to watch. Dave introduced himself to Gabrielle and Toby. Elle wants to know what they're watching and Toby and Dave tell her that they don't know yet. Freddie and Mercy also wanted to know what was on TV. Answer: They don't know.
Town
Some masked weirdo was out on the rooftops and chatted with another suited up weirdo. Columbus showed up on the Causeway and tossed three dufflebags off of it. Niiiiiice. Rinoa had a lunch date with her ex Seifer and they talked about why they broke up in the first place. Rikku was cleaning up Fixer-Uppers when Jim Hawkins literally crashed nearby. He went into the store for repairs and ended up getting a job. Dolf was mopey at the T&C but still managed to help Columbus out when it came to getting twinkies and bowling balls. Blysse was at the Gig and told Tahiri about the bad situation Katniss was in. Yeah, it totally sucks, doesn't it? Isabella was being mean to the Vikings at the Devil's Nest and had a conversation with a apparently lost Reed Richards.
Okay, that's it for me. Everybody get to class and try not to think about how you could be on vacation right now. See ya!
