Good morning, me hearties! It is I, Captain Jack Sparrow, here to bring you the news of yesterday. But first I have a message to our new Viking friends:
RUM. IS. BETTER. THAN. MEAD.
If you speak louder and slower to people, they can understand ye. It's a well known fact.
And now that everyone has learned something--you're welcome--on to the news!
The school was quiet because everyone graduated and no one has anything to study yet, but that doesn't stop young William from attending to the library, where he was greeted by random fruit for his effort. Well done, library.
In the dorms, Dolf was brooding in his room. I'd brood too if I were named Dolf. Cally eventually stopped over and Dolf told her that Triela is in the clinic and is not going to get better. Well. I'd feel bad about making fun of you now, but I'm a pirate. I don't feel bad for anything. It's part of the Code. Up on the fourth floor, Nathan was eating Chinese--um, food, not people--and watching a movie Bruce came in and appalled Nathan by fessing up to not only watching Left with the Breeze but having read the book as well. Nathan is now fleeing to England. See what you did, Bruce? And Quinn got a message from home that has her packing her bag. Farewell, Quinn! You and your perfect ponytail shall be missed.
And in town, the only part of the island I care about, Lacey in the diner was fine with the temperature change but less excited about the Vikings. Me? I'm the opposite, but then I'm the Pirate King of the Caribbean and not the Caspian Sea. And now you all know a little more about me. Karla was distracted at 'Dites--just wait until the Vikings figure out what it is your selling, wench, then you'll be really busy--Dani was hiding from the Vikings at the Gig, and wench Alex was working on magic at the Magic Box, which makes sense. Jono's cleaning at Groovy Tunes until Raven comes in to get a hug and tell him about Triela's dire condition. Katniss and Jaina were sparring together at Atlas Gym and Ben came in with meat when he visited Ender at Fixer-Uppers and boys. BOYS. You are making it too easy for me.
This evening at Caritas, Jake was all caught up in an election of some kind--did everyone vote for themselves?--before doing a double-take when he met Bo. The bosoms are that impressive, huh? I was at the vastly superior Devil's Nest, where the music was good tonight, thanks to my efforts, and my boss experimented unsuccessfully with combining mead and TruBlood. Eww.
Scully was at the clinic, despite it not being her usual day, and there were a number of people--Emma, Raven, and Scully hovering around the poor Triela. Leda had posted herself in the lobby instead.
Well that was depressing. Over in the Viking village, squirrels with very fetching horned helmets tell me that Alexander, Lion-O and Jaina wandered through the village and Shunsui got hammered on mead.
That strikes me as an excellent way to spend the day. Fare ye well until next week, Fandom!
