Fandom Radio :: Wednesday, April 27.
Shunsui: Happy, happy Wednesday, my delightful little Fandom Dumplings ♥! It could be a very sad day for this island, as my beautiful, buxom Kūkaku-chan has returned home, but I have excellent news ♥. The lovely and bright Miss Jane Porter has agreed to come in and help me with the radio notes, so long as I don't make her wear those sexy glasses that really do look so good on her ♥.
Jane: Yes, well, they are quite silly, Mr. Kyōraku; my vision is impeccable, and--
Shunsui: Call me Shunsui, my dear ♥. We are radio cohosts now ♥!
Jane: ...I...suppose. Either way, thank you very kindly for having me on. I know I can certainly not fill Miss Shiba's....formidable space, but I shall certainly try me best to help report the news of the previous day effectively and with proper expected entertainment for the listeners out there.
Shunsui: And, luckily, we can help...ease you on in, with just a little sprinkling of notes today ♥. Let us begin ♥!
Shunsui: We shall begin, as always, with THE SCHOOL, though classes are finished for the semester, and we have much less to report ♥. Skywalker is still holding his office hours, though, and watching footage of Katniss-chan's Hunger Games ♥. Katniss-chan herself stops in to see what he thinks of them, and he offers his sympathies for her friend's death.
Jane: Oh, that's terrible! My sympathies to you as well, Miss Everdeen.
Shunsui: Death is not so bad as some may think, you know, darling Jane-chan ♥. But moving along, into THE DORMS, to best not dwell on such a topic...Nathan has a smoke and a bitching Caroline-chan, but they catch up on what Nathan's been up to, which involve two of my favourite things...women and IKEA ♥.
Jane: Says the gentleman with hardly any passable furniture in his apartment. Or perhaps there is furniture; it's simply that one cannot find it underneath the mountains of sake bottles! Bobby McCallister is under his bed, reading a--oh, my. *clears throat; definitely not laughing, of course, that would not be kind!* Um, well, let us just say that young Mr. McCallister is exploring certain aspects of the human anatomy through, er....research. And in less...studious persuits, Miss Akatsutsumi is enjoying a nap with adorable little kittens, one of whic turns out to be Miss Leda.
Shunsui: Which could very easily lead into a different kind of study ♥. One much more...hands-on ♥. In OUR FAIR TOWN yesterday, Tahiri-chan and Ben had a little date on the beach, so I suspect this morning they're discovering sand in whole new places they never expected sand could be ♥! Also at the beach, but later that evening, a sexy pirate washed up on shore, so guess who is going to be spending tonight sleeping on the beach ♥!
Jane: Oh, it isn't as if it's very likely that there will be two sexy pirates washing up on the beach on two consecutive days, Mr. Kyō--Shunsui. But, if it so happens that it does occur on a second occasion, and it happens to be a male sexy pirate this time, you shall have to let me know.
Shunsui: Shall I, Jane-chan ♥?
Jane: *cough* Well, yes, certainly. It is...important to know about that sort of thing, what with pirates and their pillaging and you know they could have scurvy, you know...
Shunsui: And you'll want to give them a proper examination ♥?
Jane: Or at least kindly direct them to the clinic! Enough about pirates, then, though it seems we can't get away from nautical. Miss Ariel is making seashell tops at Pixie Dust, which hardly seem very comfortable or even entirely effective, and we are being assured that Miss Raven is being entirely rational and calm about some sort of war about ships at Dite's Decadent Delights. Well, it's ships; unless you are a pirate or a dashing young sailor with penetrating blue eyes, I can't see any reason why you wouldn't be calm and rational about them.
Shunsui: And in bar news, my favourite news, Robin-chan's anger at Angry Birds seems to bring in some clientele to Caritas ♥. I must admit, a woman like Robin-chan in full-rant mode would certainly bring me in if I hadn't been passed out in my apartment all day ♥! The sexy pirate mentioned earlier finds her way in hoping to get hot food, but Robin-chan has none, just a greeting and a little introduction on the island she's washed up on ♥. Isabela-chan, should you ever be wanting for a hot meal again or at least some very delicious sake, I am more than happy to oblige ♥!
Jane: I am most certain you would! Contable Fraser comes along to visit his working wife and listen to her rant about this Angry Birds thing, and, well, you can hardly blame her. Birds can get terribly vicious when they're angry, particularly if you're threatening their young, but you'll find such a trait in many creatures of the animal kingdoms. Protecting their young is the only way to really ensure a strong continuation of the species, and, in fact, some species will even kill their young if they feel a particular offspring is not strong eno--
Shunsui: Jane-chan ♥?
Jane: Yes, Mr. Kyōraku?
Shunsui: You have more notes, my dear ♥.
Jane: Ah, yes! Of course. Where was I?
Shunsui: Angry Birds ♥.
Jane: Right. Let's see...Angry Birds. Constable Fraser...ah, here we are. Mr. Chrono hopes to avoid mocking for just wanting a glass of water and the atmosphere of the tavern, but, of course, Mrs. Constable Fraser is practically obligated to give him a little ribbing over it. Mr. Doyle would like rum, but, alas, it appears pirates have stormed the place and there is no rum left. I suspect Mrs. Constable Fraser was merely pulling his leg on that matter, because I should hate to think there was a whole pirate raid and I missed it.
Shunsui: Sake is better, anyway ♥.
Jane: I am not entirely sure I could trust myself on your sake, Shunsui. But that was rather fun and you shall have to invite me to do this with you again, perhaps when there is more to report!
Shunsui: Naturally ♥! And, until then, perhaps we shall take advantage of this morning and find ourselves some breakfast ♥?
Jane: Oh, yes! Breakfast will be lovely! You know it, it is truly important to have a good breakfast when you start the day, as it gives the the fuel and energy to proceed effectively through the course of your hours. Far too many people will attempt to skip their morning repast for fear of not being able to lace up their corsets, and that is the reason why so many of them feel faint by the time the afternoon comes abo--
