Leo: Morning, Fandom! This is not wee Leo Valdez and with me is really, really not wee Luke Castellan.
Luke: I'm not that old!
Leo: Aren't you like twenty?
Luke: No! Gods.
Leo: Just what I heaaaaard. Anyway, let's get down to news and we'll try to be as quiet as possible just in case people are suffering from candy hangovers.
School
Luke: A tiny Jono was looking through young adult books in the library. At least you know your age range and weren't looking at erotica or something.
Dorms
Leo: Squall is small and was eating chips on the fifth floor and Jamie, who is big, was making ice cream sundaes on the third. Sad when a kid eats better than you do. Anyway tiny Momoko was sure to tell Jamie all about her day before getting excited about the ice cream. Nathan was smoking on the deck and just in case you were worried, he isn't a child. Ramona wanted to know if smoking made people warmer but Nathan gave her his sweatshirt instead of a cigarette for the warmth thing. Good work. Cara was curious about the cigarette and Quinn wanted to know if he was gonna get cancer. Nice to see the drug programs work on some kids. Kate thought Nathan looked lonely and provided a hug. Awwww.
Luke: Tamara with a wolf puppy and Katniss with an owl were wandering through the preserve. Both were tiny but I get the feeling they could handle wandering the woods. Nico shared ice cream with Jason and Mrs. O'Leary while tiny Jeremy and big, and by that I mean she wasn't a kid not that she is fat, Juliet played video games together. Ben and Ender, who were tiny, headed to the warehouse district where they were still nerding it up about robots and stuff if you can believe it.
Town
Leo: Rikku and Reno had a lemonade stand in town. Aww. An adult Jaina wondered about the doll in the lemonade and paid Reno and Rikku a dollar for their services. Hook came by not to buy lemonade, but to mock which earned him getting his pocked picked by Reno. You brought it on yourself.
Luke: There was a giant birthday party for Karla and Warren in the preserve with so many notes that it makes me hate everybody a little bit. Just a little. Bobby dragged Warren off towards the bumper cars but not before Karla gave Warren cotton candy and asked if he was gonna be a crybaby again. Valid question. Karla hugged the adult Raven and complained that Warren was a crybaby and asked if Raven was having fun. Raven replied that she was, but she wouldn't be if she was a child because she had been a pretty serious kid. You and me both. I'm so glad I stayed older for the weekend. Tara came up to Raven for a bandaid because that's what adults are for. Karla caught Jack Priest stuffing food into his pockets and assured him that nobody would want to take a sandwich that's been in there. She has a point. Momoko offered Jack a cookie and he comments on the party being good. Stephanie accused Jason of looking stupid because he had a bucket on his head. She also has a point.
Leo: Still at the party, Karla traded food with Emma before informing a grown up Sookie that it was her birthday and that she was a very old seven. Katniss brought Karla flowers and stick for her birthday. The stick was for hitting Warren, by the way. Katniss wanted to know what Kennedy's cotton candy was and both agreed it doesn't taste like bunny tail. Personal experience perhaps? Ben offers Karla a shiny rock, which is a fun gift for all ages. Katniss informed Ben that he was covered in food and the best way to get if off would be to roll in the grass. Of course! This party was pretty decked out because there were rides that Scully, Momoko and Rilla all went on.
Luke: There was also a petting zoo at this party. I'm not into animals but we all know kids are into that sort of crap. Kennedy informed Tara that they needed sheep on their farm. Rainbow and purple sheep to be exact. Jack called Emma pretty and she invited him to feed the ducks which ended up in him eating duck food. Apparently it doesn't taste good, but I already guessed that without trying it myself. Karla asked Ender if he wanted to feed the bunnies 'cause apparently it tickled, which was something that didn't occur to Ender to do before. There was a henna station that Karla participated in, along with rides, where Stephanie and Dana took advantage of the bouncy castle. Dude. I love those things. And of course no party is complete without a cake and this cake was in the shape of a hamburger.
...I'm just saying, you people owe me on my birthday for reading these notes.
Leo: Oh, just you wait Luke because where one birthday party ends a wedding begins. Several weddings. There was a place to get ready, of course and it was here that Rilla informed William that he needed to wear a veil and flowers in order to be beautiful for the wedding. Karla asked who he was marrying and I get the feeling he had no clue. Rilla was surprised that anyone would want to marry Karla, which was mean, and Noah offered to marry Quinn, which she accepts. Oh, kids. Captain Jack Sparrow was there to marry the kids and I think since we're not at sea that they don't count legally. Tara and Kennedy, Quinn and Noah got fake married and Karla agreed to marry Jono under the caveat that he didn't have any cooties. Smart girl, thinking ahead.
Luke: There was a place to watch the weddings, which a lot of people both wee and not did. An adult Bruce was in the audience and got hassled by Ramona asking him if he was gonna get married and he informed her that she couldn't be a bride by herself. Way to crush a kid's dreams. Dana asked Bruce if he was there to support the bride or groom before noting that Jack Sparrow didn't look like the priests she's seen. And we're thankful for that. A grown up Juliet was there and talked to Bruce about the fake weddings and the relief it was to talk to a fellow adult this weekend. Rilla invited Rinoa to the dressing room and she talked about her dilemma over whether to marry Faramir or William. I don't think either boy realized that he was in line to be her husband. Ramona asked Rinoa who she was gonna marry before informing her that she was gonna marry herself because boys are stupid. Then they agree to marry each other. I won't comment on that since they were kids. Jono initially refused to marry Karla but she bribed him with cake and he agreed. I'd fall for that too, dude. No need to be ashamed.
Leo: And that's it!
Luke: Finally. I was right to hide all weekend, even if I regret not getting a chance to go on the bouncy castle.
Leo: I'm sure there will be more bouncy castles in your future, Luke.
Luke: I hope so. That's it from us, Fandom. Have a good finals week!
