Fandom Radio, 4/14/11

Well then, I hope you are all bright eyed and bushy tailed today, listeners! It is I, Captain James Hook, savior of your little babes and commander of the radio waves. Today I will bring you the news of yesterday, and I shall do so starting now.

We begin with the wonderful academic world of The School.

Extreme Physical Education engaged itself with climbing and iced-over waterfall, The Science of Psionics was warned of the final and discussed definitions, Home Ec baked bread and ate cake, The fine Miss Kukaku smoked in her office, and Young Gabrielle tried to write in the library.

Oddly that's all the school news, so we'll move on to The Dorms.

Young Stephanie worked on assignments in her dorm, until Jeremy came in and offered her a croissant. She also encountered interruption from Tony, who asked her to the dance.

And of course the big news, which isn't news to any of you students, is the Fire Drill which hit you poor kiddies. During the odd upside down rain, no less. Young Bod got soaked and heard Kate's complaints about the weather. Ender was bleary-eyed and wet. Ben was grateful it wasn't raining maple syrup. Young Dolf was unhappy, even when joined by Young Cally.

Percy had the power to remain dry, a handy power in such circumstances. Quite handy, quite handy indeed. Luke in fact came over to mooch off of that power. Smart lad. Claudia tried to hop on one foot to avoid the rain. Have you been taking advice from young Hank, girl? Scully and Claudia were reduced to single words in their conversation, apparently due to their disgruntlement. Chuck was like many, sleepy and soaked, and Ariel tried to teach him ways to enjoy the water.

Before he found Percy, Jake scowled profusely. He did get the pleasant reminder that Dru owed him a steak, however. Tahiri was annoyed and wet, but had a chance to chat with Ender, and also a chance to have risque conversation with Ben. Quinn was also unhappy, even when Claudia hopped her way over to talk about building a noise-cancellation device. Which I'm sure will be wonderful if the fire alarms go off in a real emergency.

Jeremy was confused in the rain, and spoke with Juliet about the unnatural nature of the rain. Lion-O pouted-o at the rain-o. Alexander joined the lad and hoped that gravity wasn't broken. Caroline was, oh you guessed it, annoyed and tired. Jake took the chance to ogle the girl. Bad form, lad. Bad form. Dru and Scully both agreed that the drill, quote, 'sucked'. Perhaps that explains the inverse of the precipitation.

Scully was also quite bedraggled, and chatted with Lion-o and Bruce about the rain. Tony believed the island to be evil, to which Ender stated that this was tradition. Much like a late-term hazing, really. My notes state that Cara was a 'little' naked. Which is really an all or nothing matter, by definition. Bruce was quite brave and asked her if she'd forgotten something.

Blackagar was outside with his dog and Medusalith, who was not happy. Momoko and Jaime got two grumpy cats into a pet carrier, and Roy recieved advice that he bring an umbrella next time from Scully.

Yes. Because the lad was supposed to have been clairvoyant about the weather.

But with that all sorted out, we come to The Town.

Hank participated in a conga line at Turtle and Canary, Alexander worked on a giant hutch at Things Reborn, Lion-O complained about radishes at Luke's Diner-o, and flashlights kept falling on William's head.

Over at Mystery Sign Theater, Kate had the business showing a comedy. Juliet hung out in the lobby until Sov arrived, presumably for some sort of romantic roundezvous. Mitchell drank coffee in his office, until Kate came in to discuss temporal displacement of her home, and listen to Mitchell gossip about having a date over the past weekend.

At Groovy Tunes, Lindsay listened to The Runaways. Over at Caritas, Nathan demanded whiskey and upbeat music. So proffessional, that lad.

That concludes the news, and I hope you all stay quite dry and refreshed today. And remember, fire drills save lives. Ahahahahahahahaha...
