Fandom Radio; Sunday; January 3rd, 2009

Chuck: Okay, so, Lois is punishing me for not being here the last few weeks by not showing up. Little did she know that I have other people willing to do radio with me.

Damon: And he's not even paying me. I'm just bored.

Chuck: That's how most people end up in here, I think. There's a ridiculous amount of notes so lets get started, shall we?

School

Chuck: Henry, the new librarian, was in the library doing his job, I assume. Jono came by and once they got past the whole weird communication issues, Henry offered to let Jono keeps his job as a library aide. Gabrielle came by to make sure she still had her job too and, yes, she does. Congratulations, nerds.

Dorms

Damon: Jak got called back home and talked a bit to Jono while he prepared to leave. Jaina was putting up pictures in her room, Hayley was listening to Elvis in her room and Azula got back to her room after a trip home.

Chuck: Thrilling, all of you.

Damon: Yep. Oh so thrilling. Jamie tried to drop off Momoko's Christmas present while she was gone but she arrived while he was doing it so he hid. What?

Chuck: Don't even bother trying to work out the logic behind that. Bobby had about a billion pizzas in the third floor common room and then [feedback]ing everyone and their mother showed up. Bobby is Claudia's new favorite person, thanks to the pizza. Kurt flailed at Claudia and denied he looked like one of those things from that James Cameron movie. Bobby tells Zayne that these food things always seem to happen to him and Claudia told Zayne that the best parties don't have signs. I could agree with that. Robin the frog asks Zayne how his break went and Kurt seems to want to get Zayne dancing. From what I know of the guy, dancing seems like an accident waiting to happen.

Damon: Mat asked Bobby who he met with yesterday and caught up with Zanye. Mat wants Zayne to hook up with Jaina's mom.

Chuck: Sorry, Zayne, I'm going out with her tomorrow. You'll have to wait.

Damon: Nice! Mat and Claudia introduce themselves and Mat guesses correctly that she's new. Claudia shares the government sent her here. Huh. Mat told Kurt that if he didn't live on this floor then he'd have to pay for the food. I'd charge too. Arthur and Claudia snarked at each other. Bobby recognized Arthur's voice from radio and says it must be hard to work with squirrels all the time.

*angry squeaking*

Damon: I think you pissed them off.

Chuck: Mat and Arthur don't know what a pepperoni is made of. Pig. It's made of pig. Zayne says there's too much pizza and Arthur disagreed, predicting a lot more people would show up. Oh, look who's right for once. I wouldn't get used to it. Arthur somehow managed to dupe Robin the frog into getting him a drink and Kurt shared that, he too, smelled pizza. Stating the obvious seems to be popular around here. I was also in the common room and Bobby shared that he doesn't cook and he's helping to contribute to the sharing food in the common room thing that happens all the time. Zayne told me that if the food wasn't for everyone we'd be in a lot of trouble. I met Claudia, who is quite possibly too snarky for her own good, and we discussed our respective hometowns. I also enlightened Kurt about the squirrels. He didn't think you were real.

*squeaking*

Chuck: I know, right? Completely ridiculous.

Damon: ...how do you even understand them?

Chuck: One, I've been doing this for a while. Two, I'm really good at foreign languages. Three, I'm guessing most of the time.

Damon: Ah. Mirax and Zayne guess the pizza isn't going to last long and talk about the Spanish soap they watched the other day. Bobby told Mirax that he ordered one pizza and got twelve instead, and Claudia judged Mirax on her stating the obvious skills. Mirax complimented Mat on his ability to wear a shirt and she recognized Kurt as Bobby's friend. Leto asked Bobby if the pizza was for everyone and it led into a deep philosophical conversation that I don't even want to get into right now.

Chuck: Can't blame you. These notes are taking forever. Leto told Mat that his sister introduced him to pizza and then they got into a discussion about their homeworlds. Both Bobby and Kurt give Robin awkward greetings. Isn't that new and surprising. Bobby tried to tell Roy that the smell was due to a pizza scented air freshener and Mat notes that Roy is probably from this world and they get into a philosophical discussion that, I too, don't want to get into right now. Roy and Mirax discuss each other's names and Dru tells him that this place isn't what she was expecting. Again with the stating obvious thing.

Damon: I think all these notes are making you grumpy. Anyway, Kurt told Roy that Bobby is a huge liar but decide they love him anyway because he gave them food. How adorable. Claudia told Roy she might've pissed off her big sibling because she saw through her attempts to show her magic. Roy says magic is real and Claudia doesn't believe him. Oh, you'll see. Magic is very real. Even if most witches are pains in the ass. Bobby introduced Leia to the joys of pizza and Mat gets his flirt on. Leia correctly guessed Leto's identity, due to Kate telling him about his eyes. Kurt asked Leia how life is without her aunts so far and, Roy told Leia about the four food groups. Claudia and Leia introduced themselves and sympathize over having boy roommates. Leia has to explain that her roommate isn't the Chuck sitting next to me.

Chuck: I'm way cooler than he is. Zayne and Leia tried to figure out where they each are in their timelines. It all looks very confusing. Kurt is amazed Bobby got to the food before he did and, wow, you both are spazzes. Kurt told Leto his eyes were cool and Leto explains why they are the way they are. Dru showed up and asked Kurt how the picnic went, and introduced herself to Bobby. Mat told Dru that the free food thing happens a lot and Leto asked if Dru had ever had pizza before.

Damon: Jesus, these are the notes that never end. You owe me for this. Dru and Claudia introduced themselves and compare notes on the crazy that's happened to them so far. Dru assured Zayne she hasn't run away screaming yet and he assumes she's been told about the weird so far. Puck and Bobby discuss using food to attract women. Tony complimented Puck on his mohawk and asked if he met Priestly yet. Puck and Kurt talk about how hunting down food is like living on a deserted island. You kids are so lazy.

Chuck: Yes. Yes we are. Zayne tells Puck that he's new to pizza and they talk about whether or not Zayne being from another galaxy makes him an alien or not. Puck and Claudia wonder if the school is really into hazing rituals or if everyone really is this crazy. It's the latter, newbies. Puck told Roy that being fed by girls is way better than making your own food. Um. Bobby's a boy but okay.

Damon: Tony and Kurt introduced themselves and Tony asked Bobby if he broke any of the new kid's brains yet. He explained to Claudia that the food thing happens often and she explains she thinks she's being hazed by everybody. Bobby welcomed Gabrielle back and she explains about the weird time stuff that happened while she was gone. Thank god, we're done with that crap.

Chuck: And yet, there's still news left. Dinah was in the gym practicing dive rolls, whatever those are, and Kennedy asked how her weekend was going. Claire apparently hates me because she's giving me more news to report by making cookies on the third floor. Helen offered to help with the baking, Mulan got introduced to the world of cookies and Claire tried to convince Harper to join cheerleading.

Damon: Jennifer and Claire discussed if cookies really do make everything better. Joolushko is glad there are cookies and they talk about what went on during the picnic. Jen notes she hadn't seen Joolushko in a while and the latter person bonded with Helen over being antisocial. Claire recognized Azula as one of Dinah's friends and caught her up on local traditions. That's it for dorm stuff.

Chuck: That was an ordeal.

Damon: No kidding.

Town

Damon: Let's make this quick. Zack, Tully, Loki and Kyle were all at their respective places of work but nobody showed up to keep them company. Biff was at the Wellspring Arms and got scared by Gibbs. Clark was at Caritas and talked to Bruce about the local nightlife here. Gunn kind of flipped out about the zombie band. Clark tried to explain that they worked there and Bruce told Gunn he was more concerned about their ability to play music.

Chuck: They really aren't that bad. Warren met up with Kate in the park and they discover they're fake stepsiblings due to Francine. Stepsiblings don't count, if you know what I mean. Dan Humphrey, the epic douche, was sitting at the Perk with a notebook. Stop pretending to be deep, Humphrey, we all know you aren't. Hannibal asks about Humphrey's writing. Don't encourage him. Jenny's dramatic entrance scares Humphrey, which is hilarious, and--seriously? Sam manages to do the direct opposite of what I ask and makes friends with Humphrey. Fine. See if I ever do anything you want again.

Damon: I'm never sitting through this again.

Chuck: It's usually not that bad.

Damon: Never again.

Chuck: Duly noted. We're finally done, Fandom.

Damon: Night, everybody!
