Fandom Radio :: October 3rd.

Good evening, fellow Fandomites! It's T.R. Wexler here for Friday Night Radio, for reals and without the hinderance of a nasty toothache! Those things are evil, I tell you. Anyway, I hope you've all had a wonderful Friday, but, if you haven't, we'll find out, because it's time for the news!

SCHOOL

The following individuals are very disappointing and have detention with Miss Garrett tomorrow: Amber Atkins, Myn Donos, Claire Fisher, Peyton Sawyer, Cal Stephanides who spits on girls so he definitely probably deserves it, Eric van der Woodsen, John Sheppard, and John Sheppard's hair. Tsk. Tsk. Jamie was all depressed about this announcement; if I know Jamie at all, which I do, I bet he was just disappointed.

In his office today, Doctor Suresh seems to have misplaced something, and Miss Garrett is all thoughtful during her office hours. The Captain and his dog came in for a visit.

And, in class news, we have Chemistry playing with dry ice that Tyler got from meee, because at Turtle & Canary, we have everything! They had to pick one method of play from a list and Ino and Rikku were there to TA it up. Eric had to apologize for missing class, and so did Jack and Dean, who isn't used to Friday classes, and Rikku explained that Reno wouldn't be in class because he was home doing, quote, unquote, "stuff."

In the class that is evil, we had to partner up in our awful uniforms, which I really need to bring up at the next StuCo meeting. Hannibal was there to TA, also in an awful, evil uniform.

Class I really wish I'd taken dealt with zombies at Roanoke after choosing tools that weren't guns. Gwynn and Adam were, understandably, nervous and Cimorene asked Dean for some advice on how to kill the zombies. She must have been really nervous, because she also asked the Doctor. The Doctor also talked Anemone into staying despite her fears, and she made a wise choice in pairing up with Bad Alice. Joan got help from Sam, which was also a smart choice! I hope he helped her honestly and didn't hold it against her that she beat him in StuCo! Peyton and Dick reported for TAing duties.

You know what I just realized? Why is everyone so afraid of fake zombies in a danger shop when there are real zombies playing in our bar every night? JUST A THOUGHT. Maybe the Doctor's zombies were really, really scary. I don't know. Anyway, Buffy-who-is-not-my-sister opened the library too. Wooo, Buffy! Oh, and the moose has competition in the form of a baby elk over at the office.

We also had the Club Fair today, which I helped set up and it was quite the success, if I may say so! Mingling occured, of course: Ino and Romeo bemoaned scheduling issues and she checked on his health. Amber and Liir shared brownies and thought about clubs, while Cal should just stay away from Amber! Ino complained to Cal about gun club, haaaaha, Cal, and Joan convinced Hannibal to try out for cheerleading. Niiiice.

I've got to admit, our cheerleaders are not so bad; they're very equal opprotunity on the eye candy, aren't they?

Anyway, Hoshi was there representing for Self-Defense Club, which I joined, and Chad was manning his When Words Fail, Music Speaks club, which is not a very marketable name, Chad. Savannah asked if there'd be singing and, since there was, she signed right up! Agnes and Chad are all giddy about how the club is a great idea. It still has an awful name, though. Sorry. Gavin talked to people like John with the hair and Ben whose hair I know nothing about and Jaina with the whining and Agnes with the broomstick and Annja with the questions about Flight Club.

Triela was all set up for Girls with Guns club, which I joined again, and Savannah and Brooke promoted cheerleader auditions; Savannah tried to get Joan all excited, and Angela, too. Kaylee wanted to--oh, no. Not you, Kaylee! Ah, well. I'm destined to have cheerleader siblings, I suppose. Ella and Penelope also got filled in on what it was and Eve made Savannah happy by signing up. Sam did, too, which I would complain about, but seriously? Get Chad and Sam on the base of a tower thing, and that'd be really impressive! Hope those other cheerleaders aren't afraid of heights! Brooke and John with the hair talked plans for the team and Brooke also convinced Peyton to join the evil. I mean, squad. Ahem.

Ned who is awesome talked to people about Cooking Club, which I think is pretty self explainatory. Chris wanted to know if previous experience was necessary, and Hurley joined for reasons I won't say because that'll ruin the surprise! I was heading my Young Entrepreneurs table and talked with Jack and Bad Alice abot why being an entrepreneur is so freaking awesome. John with the hair who was very busy today and Teddy headed the Kappa Kappa Gremlin, and Teddy explains to Jack that fraternities operate outside the collegiate realm, but not out of the sexist realm. Okay, I made that second part up, Teddy didn't really say that. Romeo gets the scoop from the hair as to what the frat might be doing, and Sokka wasn't excited until John mentioned 'satellite.'

Wait, what? Where are you guys getting the funding for that? Anyway, Ben got a briefing on frats, too. Rikku's running the Fandom High Times, which I joined! Warren agreed to write if Rikku stopped hugging him, which she didn't yet, and Cal tried to get ideas on what he could wri--noooooo! You can't be in the paper with me, Stephanides McSpits! Ugh. Anyway, Lee had a table to represent Student Council! And I hear he even kept his shirt on!

...That might explain why no one visited the table.

DORMS

Robin got ready for a trip home and Jan was prancing and adorable in the salle this afternoon; Blysse showed up and showed him some dancing! Jaina made use of the sim in the flight shed, and Karal made use of his desk with lots of papers to work on. Just what I like to see! He explains his work to Evey and they have some cuddly time, awww, and Liir brought him food. Good to stay well fed when working hard! Speaking of working hard, Kaylee's got a project she's working on in her room, as usual, the industrious little bee! I'm so proud of my little sister! Anyway, Neeeeed comes by to help her with her spelling because they are A-D-O-R-A-B-L-E!

Meg was all ready to root for Boston in the third floor common room. Angela joined in to talk about the men tight pants, which reminds me that I was sad to not see football at the club fair this year! Anyway, Hurley and Meg are on different sides of the cheering fence for teams; time to butt heads! Hurley and Angela exchanged apathy before talking about awesome clubs. Claire wins today's Captain Obvious award by informing Hurley that they're watching baseball and guessing that Meg's a Boston fan. Meanwhile, Meg gawked at Peyton a little for not being more of a baseball girl and tries to fill her in. Personally, I'm a football kind of girl. The soccer kind, I mean. It's all Jeff's fault.

TOWN

Ender was building a raft at the beach, which seems to be a very good place to build one. Karal came by and helped him out a bit, which was rather nice. Over at the Perk, Romeo's got use of both his arm, whoop-pi-de-do, and Dojima came by to talk about clubs, his buddy Ben, and Fandom Weirdness, a topic that will never go out of style.

Jenny was a crankypants at That Overpriced Clothing store and Kaylee was at Stark Industries with a short reprieve for the club fair, which is okay, because clubs are important! They look great on a college application! Anyway, Ben came in because he wants to build a ROBOT. Yes, in all big letters like that. RO. BOT. And Mister Stark wanted to improve his cellphone, I think, but not nearly as much as Kaylee wanted to improve it. Ohhh, I hope he lets her! She's bound to make it awesome! Liir was in a cleaning mood at Book Haven and Chad was in a music mood at Groovy Tunes. Teddy brought him sushi -- uck! --and they talked about...see? Clubs looking good on college applications! I told you! Miss Rosie was working on a gate at the Gig, and Mister Minsc came around to say hello and help her out. Ella was serenaded by her coworkers over at Luke's Diner and Viki played with shadows over at Strokes of Genius. Well, at least the girl is easily entertained, right?

Mister Kowalski caught up on the crazy at the Trooper Station, and Jamie actually got kicked out of there for reporting his virgi-- I am not finishing that note, I'm sorry. No one needs to hear about that, Madrox. And then Agent Cooper is horrified over the fact that Mister Kowalski puts M&Ms in his coffee. Hey. You gotta make that stuff taste decent somehow.

Just so you know, Mister Kowalski, we've got a great deal on M&Ms this week at Turtle & Canary. You should really check it out!

At the beach, Kevin met with Cal for a late season surfing lesson. Or date. One of the two. However, Agent Cooper and Miss York's date at Taste of Thai was unquestionably a date, as was Tony and Andrew's date at Outback Steakhouse. Mmm, Bloomin' Onion. Later, Mister Kowalski crashed into a booth at Pizza Planet, where Jen worked, to meet with Constable Fraser. I bet they got a pizza with lots of bacon on it. And that it WAS NOT a date. Maybe? I don't know. You can never tell around this place.

Mister Coyote was setting up shop at 55 Minotaur Lane, and I bet that whatever he's selling, it's more expensive than Turtle & Canary. Plus, he also had bugs clean up his house; do you really want to buy stuff from someone like that? BUGS. Mary was celebrating Oktoberfest at the Arms Hotel, which doesn't sound very businesslike of her, and, over at the York Gallery, Eve was excited about clubs. AS YOU SHOULD BE! Agnes was checking out Fel energy at the Magic Box, whatever that is... Err, Fel energy, I mean. Of course I know what the Magic Box is. And a phonecall puts Rikku out of her usually bounciness over at the Wellspring Arms and Meditation Center. Eeesh, I hope whatever it is gets better soon, Rikku! Mister Cable was there to talk with her a bit, though, which hopefully helped.

Tino got no healing love from Mister Bindo at Caritas tonight, and there was no healing love for Ronan at the clinic, either, but, in the latter case, that's a good thing!

Hooooo, eventful day today! But that's good! A busy Fandom is a prosperous Fandom! So, on that note, good night, Fandom! And keep on having a prosperous tomorrow when someone else has to read a lot of notes!
