Fandom Radio- Tuesday, April 30
Morning, everybody! This is Kitty for some reason, here with a baby who refuses to be put down or she cries and I got corralled over here too fast to get the caffeine that allows me to deal with that. So this is going to be a weird, stalkery storytime, I guess.
Lexi, please don't grab the squirrel.
There weren't any classes since we're still on break, but Tip was still in the library, where the books were throwing a pool party. I have questions about how those pages held up.
Nothing in the dorms, but in town, Hernando invited Sparkle over for breakfast and the ability to complain about work, and Beau was working on the parkour course. I really do need to get to that, like Liam did, where Jack just wanted a spar. Rosa probably didn't need one, since she snapped a computer mouse in half at the trooper station. Rosa, what. Also, why. Speaking of why, Summer's shift at Turtle and Canary involved both shrimp frosting and towers of boxes of glitter and I have concerns.
Seriously, honey, I'm going to need you to stop trying to grab Leroy's tail. I do not want to take you to the clinic for a bite from a drunken radio squirrel.
Iris, bless her, actually got the shrimp Jello and tried to get Summer to try it and talk about who she's not dating, Jack was getting caffeinated at the Perk and met Iris, who she lectured on how bigoted people are here.
I mean, everyone's experience isn't universal, and there are always new people who never knew aliens or mutants or magicians or whatever were real and now they're meeting them while dealing with culture shock, but in eight years here I've found most people tend to get over it pretty quickly. I've seen countless people be able to live their lives out in the open no matter what they are or who they love or where they come from, even if they can't anywhere else, even right across the causeway. Generally no one cares unless they're just a jerk, and there's no cure for that.
But hey. What do I know.
Anyway, she was nice to Fjord, and Nell was hard at work at the flowe-
*sounds of crying*
It's okay, he just ran under the console. He's still there somewhere. Hiding. Because you keep grabbing at him.
*more sounds of crying*
So this worked out well! Lessons were learned today!
