Fandom Radio, Tuesday, November 25th
Good morning, listeners - Cecil here. I understand a lot of you spent time as children this weekend, and I'd like to extend my sympathies and my congratulations on once more being your proper ages. Believe me when I say I understand.
*sigh*
I mean, really. I was calling ♥Carlos♥ the other day, and we were talking, and then he -
*CHITTERING*
Oh, fine. Okay. News first. Do you all have relatives in station management?
In classes yesterday, Technology and You learned about cameras, then got to take pictures in a Danger Shop version of a park. Which would normally be a little silly - I mean, we've got a park, right? But we're getting back into all that cold and wet and...ugh, right? So it was probably more fun that way. Public Service worked some more on their water filtration system so they could get it done before finals. And How to be a Hired Gun had a movie day and watchedmeta for Planes, Trains, and Automobiles.
In the library, Barry came in to work, and then ended up a puppy again. Oh, no! Barry, have you got a problem or something? I mean, maybe an addiction to being a puppy? Or does the island hate you? Or...oh, I don't know. You just seem to be turning into a dog a lot lately, and as your big sibling, I'm worried.
Well, okay, I'm worried a lot of the time for a lot of different existential reasons, but right now, especially that. Call me when you're human, okay? Or before, if you want to just bark at me or something.
Anyway, in the dorms, Isabelle was definitely not getting out of bed this morning. Flick came by to check on her, and luckily he has a key, because she really wasn't getting up. Really. They talked about her being little over the weekend and about family.
And over in town, Hatter was at Cafe Fina having some tea to settle in after being out of town, which meant he completely missed being a little kid this weekend.
Clint was at the Perk, trying to make some headway on his flooded e-mail inbox, and Kitty found him there. He lamented about the horrible spelling in e-mail and then they exchanged stories about the damage their kid selves had left behind.
Eliot - ugh - was giving Luke's employees time-outs because they were still refusing to act like adults and beating one another up with pool noodles. Well, at least he didn't kill them.
And over at Caritas, Kenzi - hi, Kenzi! - was making grown-up drinks while Tino lamented the lack of milkshakes.
And it looks like that's all the news I've got! Everyone's still recovering from being little, I guess. Anyway, I hope you all have a really great week, nice and grown up. Or, well, as grown up as you usually are. If you're not usually all the way grown up, I suppose it would be pretty rotten. Trade you?
Oh, well. Have a great Tuesday, everybody, and until next week, I leave you with the weather.
