Fandom Radio, Sunday, October 13th

Oh! Um. Good afternoo...erm, morning, listeners! I didn't realize the squirrels would make it out here. But apparently, radio lives on no matter where the broadcaster is. Which is very comforting, really.

Right now - or whenever it is for you at the moment - I'm broadcasting via several insistent squirrels and a great-looking mic, from Tuscany, Italy! And if you're not here, you're really missing out, so I won't dwell on it. Or I wouldn't, except that's what most of the news is about. So if you're not here and you're the jealous type, you might want to turn off the radio and go for a walk or something.

For all the rest of you, here's that news.

This morning, Derek and Stiles went for a run in the park, Stiles doing a little less than stellar. Stiles told Derek he's going home for a few days during the break, but that nothing is wrong. That's good to hear.

Over at the library, Cassidy tried to get some of the books to sing to her. Word to the wise, Cassidy - don't mess with books. Especially library books. You never know what defensive maneuvers they might have picked up from librarians.

At the Gig, Dani wasn't.

And outside Turtle and Canary, "New-Old Guy-Mike" sat eating and thinking. I'm not entirely sure what that name signifies, but more as it occurs.

Meanwhile, the folks headed here gathered outside of Portalocity and tried to stay dry. And Foucault behaved beautifully, I must say.

*squeak-honk*

Rilla was there to get a portal home, and Dr. Lecter met her with all the goods he'd collected for her for the war effort. It says here that she was "super grateful and awww." So that's one vote from the squirrels in favor of helping the...which war, again?

*chittering*

The Canadian forces in World War I. Go, Canada.

After we got here, everybody was assigned their rooms, and headed out to them. Kitty and Clint talked about moving here, because it is really nice. Jessica showed her roommate Sia her "translator thingamahbob". I hope I'm not supposed to know what that is?

*chittering*

Okay, good. Liara and Karolina found out they were rooming together, which is apparently awkward for unspecified reasons. They talked about...oh! Well, that explains the awkwardness. Apparently there's a relationship and an almost-marriage to someone else, and that sort of thing. It happens. And the squirrels would like me to add, "JUST KISS." If they get a vote.

*chitters*

Well, it's up to them, isn't it? Don't look at me.

Anyway, listeners, this place is really nice. Much bigger than the place I stayed in in Svitz. There are restaurants and bars that a few folks made use of, including Atton and Cade, who talked about girls and whether or not Cade's clothing smells. The squirrels say yes.

There's also a gym and a spa and even a pool! Though I'm not much of a swimmer, really.

*chittering*

Well, there's not much call for it in a desert, is there? Honestly.

You can also go do things on your own, like someone who was wearing a cape and lurking on the roof. Which is a hobby I've never considered before, really.

And now I'm going to head out and see how the scenery compares to Luftknarp's.

*chittering*

What do you mean, where is Luftknarp? I should hope that they teach you some geography in your school.

*annoyed chittering*

I'm sure I can get you some brochures. Maybe it's close enough for a day trip?

*chittering*

Well, we'll find out. Until then, from lovely Tuscany, listeners, I give you the weather!
