Fandom Radio, Sunday, May 5

Hi, I'm late, I know. That's because I convinced the squirrels to let me do this from my phone in bed. They told me to tell you guys not to try it. It's for their favorite broadcasters only.

*angry chittering*

Yep, that's what they said.

Yesterday in town, Dinah visited Priestly and Dean to get them to exercise. In the bushes, Ace yelled at an invisible person, because of course she would, and then she left. Aww. Dean was reading the newspaper at Cafe Luke's, I kept checking my email at Stark's, and April was at Caritas doing nothing.

And then a bunch of you guys went and graduated.

Ender judged Ben for bringing a horn and a giant sign - oh, that was you? I couldn't see your guys' faces over that thing. Where did you get glitter in space? Then they talked about who they know who's graduating next year, and the answer is me. I want a glittery sign too.

Emma brought popcorn to share with Kaidan, and Ben shared insults with Peter, but they were at least insults directed at someone else they both know in different universes. Rilla was, like, super excited to see Bruce -- maybe he brought her a present? -- while Kate and Bod showed up together and talked about how old they are. Yes. Really old. So, Kate, you can stop coming to these any time. Then Leda and Ender both checked in with Bod separately to see how things are going and whether Kate turned psycho on him yet, et cetera.

Raven talked to Cassidy about Karla's world, which I guess they're both going to for some insane reason. Kitty talked to Clint and Jack to Dinah about what to expect from the ceremony - yeah, it was a surprise to me too. I thought these were supposed to be more boring. Bo talked to Kate, maybe as part of her security protocols, and Sookie and Bobby held up signs for their friends, while Jack and Emma exchanged compliments.

Was I the only one who just wanted to sit quietly until I could leave? Seriously.

Then there was marching, with the graduates talking amongst themselves where none of us could hear them, so now we get to find out what they were all saying to each other. Olive and Percy couldn't understand why they had to walk in pairs, and Luke and Natalie promised not to laugh at each other if they fell. I wouldn't have made that promise. Chuck and Lex geared up for walking, whatever that means, since it's basically just moving your feet, and Jeremy and Juliet told each other how nice they looked. Aren't they related? And Kenzi had an awesome arsenal of awesome stuff, which made Karla laugh. Heh.

Then there were speeches which were super super boring, including one from the Principal, one from the Dean, one from Petra and one from Natalie. I only sort of heard Natalie's. I think it was about not being popular.

Then there were diplomas and an attack from these awesome gopher things I want as a pet. Some people freaked, though Ben and Ender just talked about what food they had on them; Raven and Dinah looked out for the people they care about and I guess didn't pay any attention to anyone else. That's how to do it, yep. Meanwhile the graduates got out their weapons - looks like point Kenzi, sorry Karla - which involved... oh. Kenzi not managing to get out her sword so effectively. Well, that's why I gave her extra stuff. You're alive, right, Kenz? Meanwhile, Jeremy and Olive hid, and finally all the gophers left and Sam La-thingy gave Natalie a hug.

So that's that. Yeah. Good job graduating to everyone who wasn't lame about it. Bye.
