Fandom Radio, Sunday, February 3

You're kidding me with this list of notes. You saw that many dead people?

*chittering*

No, I wasn't making a reference -- I mean, okay, I was, but you don't have to tell me I'm not funny, that's hurtful. Gimme the notes.

At Electroclash's place, there was a dead guy there by the name of Simon who was talking about the circumstances of his death over breakfast. So was that happening over breakfast, or did he die literally over a bunch of breakfast f... never mind. Another interesting breakfast choice yesterday was ice cream, which was enjoyed by Sam Winchester and his dead mom at Chilly Boulder. And yet another breakfast situation was a hangover, which was had by Jessica. Ha. She had a dead guest with her as well, but no word if he or she lectured her about her apparent drinking problem.

Also during the morning, Kitty and her fifty-year-old boyfriend had a chat at Kitty's place about how she didn't have any dead visitors. That's good, isn't it? And over by those giant rocks in town, Cade and his dead dad had a whole discussion about Cade's life plans. I mean, he has like a million tattoos, so I think we can rule out academia.

At the Boards, Jono and his dead grandfather were visited by Natalie, who is not dead but is also a little bit mean like a zombie, so there's that. Apparently, Jono kept telling his grandfather that she's really good at music. That is... really not something I would have expected. Okay. Zhari showed up too, asking for an audition for a show that is apparently happening. Or maybe she just thinks it is. I've never heard of it, so my bet is that it's not real.

At The Perk, Kaidan and Ashley were being really mean to some coffee people by singing loudly, but fortunately Liara walked by and they decided to gossip about her instead of continuing the song. That's good. Civilized. They were also visited by Emma and her dead brother, and the dead brother was apparently really excited about the coffee. Maybe he's one of those fair-trade people. Kaidan and Emma explained their romantic non-entanglement to their respective guests, and some other random girl named Triela stopped in and talked to Emma about what she was doing here. My guess is 'the same thing her dead guest was doing here, obviously,' because... yeah.

In the park, Surreal and her dead mom practiced with knives for a bit, so hopefully no one was out there walking their dogs or anything. Apparently Karla and Surreal fought or something while their parents watched. Also, Karla's mom gave Karla a lecture about how apparently Warren sucks, which is inaccurate, and Warren hung out with Karla's dead dad and gave him some lecture as well. Okay, so maybe he sucks a little. Lectures are boring. Meanwhile, Cara started brawling with Surreal's dead mom, it looks like. In summary, I'm glad I didn't go to the park yesterday.

Somehow there are still more notes remaining, and surprisingly, or not, more violence occurred. At Atlas Gym, Momoko and Triela were playing with guns, hopefully in a part of the gym that allows them. They practiced shooting and were all girly and impressed at one another. Raven and Triela talked about Raven's plans to move to Karla's world, while Raven and Karla discussed how when Karla's dead parents arrived here, they accidentally witnessed her and Warren... ew. That's... ew. Why would you write that down?

*chittering*

I don't care about journalistic integrity. That's ew.

Anyway, Triela and Karla hugged or whatever, and Triela checked that Karla had friends who are alive and care about her and whatever. I would be interested to know the answer to that as well. What? I'm not saying anything. Someone named Dinah was apparently there and talked to Karla's parents who were apparently there as well, and the conversation included such topics as Karla growing up and Karla's world being crazy. Bad news for Raven. Dinah and Triela made plans to go sparring, which seems like a risky plan given that Triela already died once, and Leda, who was apparently also there, saw Triela and got all surprised. Look, the dead got reanimated. It happens, okay? Watch a movie once in a while. Meanwhile, Karla's parents talked to Momoko about how proud Karla makes them, gag me, and Triela introduced herself to them too and surprised them with the information that she bit it a while ago too. Uh, glass houses, guys.

At night, at Il Pollo, Jack and Emma had a date that was chaperoned by a bunch of dead relatives and they all talked about death while they were eating. Is that a romantic topic? Should I try that with Billy sometime?

Then it was nighttime, and all the dead people left, so... don't be surprised if your dead person is missing now, I guess. These people include: Kaidan's friend Ashley who was pretty calm about leaving even though Kaidan definitely wasn't; Allie's mom, Tracy, who gave her kid some parting words about safety, which is an extremely lame goodbye; Kate Gregson's friend Lionel, whose goodbye was apparently epic and involved discussion of being a star; Surreal's mom, Titian, who was apparently asked not to leave but obviously did so anyway; Karla's parents, who we've all heard about many times during this broadcast already but are really proud of her in case you didn't get the memo the first bazillion times; and Emma's brother, Christian, who was being asked questions like why he didn't raise from the dead in the past. That's a little rude, Emma.

And that's it for the dead people, but some other things going on in town were zombie-free, such as me being assaulted by a bunch of dead fruit at Stark Industries, and Dani with a lot of horseshoes at the Gig. Like those marshmallow things in Lucky Charms? Those are real? Huh. April had drinks on sale at Caritas, which seems solid given that that's what they sell there, and Bo had not too much going on at the Devil's Nest apart from Jake requesting alcohol and Coulson asking about a chocolate groundhog. I don't know what that's about, but Coulson wins.
