Fandom. Good morning. I can't help but notice how quiet the island is, this week. Now, granted, that would be because there aren't any bloody classes this week, but if my performers think for an instant that this means they have free-reign to skip rehearsals...
... Well, I really can't bloody-well blame them, it's the middle of summer and it isn't like you students get a proper vacation here. Just... know your roles for Sunday, please. Please.

Newsies? If you can pull together a number in time for the showcase, I'll let you up there to perform the bloody Moulin Rouge, if you've got your hearts set on it. Equal-opportunity stage, and all. Now, notes? Thank you.
Nobody was down at the School yesterday, with the exception of William, who had to deal with popcorn in inappropriate places at the Library.
In the Dorms, Cara was doing laps in the pool to escape the heat. Now, there's a thought. We are sitting on a bloody island and all... I've half a mind to make my way to the beach if this weather keeps up.
And in Town, Natasha was doing some paperwork at Atlas Gym when Loki showed up to put her through twenty questions, mostly on topics like Hawkeye and his ridiculous reams of purple, and on their own version of himself. Jack's daytime shift at the Devil's Nest involved navigating a miniature coconut grove and Tiny in a grass skirt. Angelica had the horses out to run in an attempt to beat whatever weather is trying to build up out there, and at Caritas, Jake was doing rainbow shots again, to Tino's dismay. Why is it I never think to go to the bar on rainbow shots night? Sounds to me like that would make for an interesting evening.
In any case, that's all the notes, and I'm going to head back to the nice, air-conditioned theatre before it heats up any more out there. I'm not made for heat like this. I wasn't even made for heat like this back when I was a student here. So, you all have yourselves a good day, try not to bloody-well melt out there, and remember, Showcase, the Boards, Sunday. Bring a newbie for two-for-one admission. There might be dancing squirrels.
