Fandom Radio, Saturday, June 25th
Good morning, Fandom. This is Dave Nelson for Fandom's Pirate Radio, WTFH, and I'm here to welcome you to the end of the first summer session.
And with that in mind, it's time to talk about School news....
Life's a Circus let people stick their heads into a lion's mouth. .... What a way to celebrate the end of the session.
In Computers 101, Mr Winchester had his students show him something they'd learned in the class.
And over by the offices, Mr Stark and Mr Anders both did some research for their workshop next session.
Just one quick note from the Cabins....
Seifer had a headache in his alcove. On behalf of the WTFH staff, I hope he's feeling better now.
And finally, Town news....
Bod took some time to open up Luke's Diner before he left town for Kansas. Harper took advantage of our current location by getting some new ancient pottery at Things Reborn. Jenny spent her last shift at Pixie Dust by trying on clothes and having some drinks. And Seifer's headache persisted, so Groovy Tunes was silent.
Sam and Freddie took their webshow on the road to the Park last night. Before the show, Freddie laid down some rules about biting and Jell-O pools. Then during the show, K checked their permits and ended up playing "Name That Wrapped Thing."
And the big news was that the Darling twins threw a beach party, with mingling, food, fireworks, and plenty of chances to talk to Jeremy and Juliet.
Juliet and Peter met for the first time, although she recognized him from radio.... People actually recognize you from this? Well, now I'm going to feel a little self-conscious. Juliet also managed to defer Nathan's threats to flash the party by offering to pay him to do it next time instead. Wesley and Juliet talked about the possibilities of party planning. Topher and Jeremy bonded over New York while Topher talked with his mouth full. And Stephanie and Juliet discussed the lion thing from Circus class.
Stephanie and Jeremy caught up on cabin life and Locker 327. Juliet shocked Rilla by telling her she was considering a tattoo. Rilla told Sov that she was going to be going home for a little bit soon. And Simon checked in to make sure Rilla was enjoying the party.
Juliet and Angelica compared notes on their places and times of origin. Then Jeremy talked to Angelica about private schools. Juliet talked to Sov and compared parties in Fandom to parties in New York. And Jeremy checked in with Toby.
Sam L and Toby bonded over surviving the first half of summer. Ramona mocked Sam a little for rolling his jeans up to show off his ankles. Billy and Simon introduced themselves. Ramona thanked Simon for helping to take care of her while she had been transformed into a baby chick. And Stephanie mocked Toby for taking a whole lot of food onto his plate.
