Do-do-dooo! It's the big Texas Butters Show! And here he is, Biiiiiig Texas Butters!
Well, howdy, there, pardners, I'm Biiiiig Texas Butters! And these are my squirrels, Quincey and Quail! ♪ Happy Traaaaails to you! ♪ I sure hope you all had a real good weekend and those of you with Dads called them up to wish them Happy Father's Day, because they sure do a lot for us, even if they ground us and send us off to camps and things like that. My parents got to go to Bennigan's; boy, I sure do miss Bennigan's....
...but let's get to the news, but first, a little Monday music!
Boy, I sure do like Will Smith! And now, the news!
Since it was Sunday yesterday, things were quiet at THE SCHOOL, but the squirrel wanted to let me know that Raven was definitely not looking for Rumor Gal spoilers at the library today, which is a relief, since she should probably be workin'.
Meanwhile, around CAMP, I gave my dad a call to wish him Happy Father's Day before he went to Bennigan's! I...don't really think that's news, but that's for noticing it, Squirrels!
Kate enjoyed Pop Tarts and bein' spider-free by the Battle of the Bands campfire, and Nathan came by to let Kate know that the next time she went crazy, if she could not break his nose, that'd be awfully nice of her. Peter and Kate wondered why the school hasn't shut down yet 'cause of all the crazy stuff, but, trust me, it takes a lot more than metal spiders to shut a school down, especially if it's anything like my old school in South Park. And Topher offered to make Peter a metal spider, before making the squirrel leave, which the squirrel didn't like very much, but, hey, it says here that Peter saved me some marshmallows! So I'll make it up to you, squirrels, by letting you have some marshmallows. Squirrels can have marshmallows, right?
*chittering*
Oh. I guess they don't like marshmallows, they like rum instead, but I can't help you with that, squirrels, I'm underage. Anyway, Topher was all freaked out because Kate tried to bite him when she was a vampire and, oh, boy, I know how that goes, Kate. I'm glad your back to normal; being a vampire's no fun, and blood tastes really gross, anyway. I'd much rather keep eatin' regular food like Pop Tarts and marshmallows. You hear that, Nathan? Apparently, he told Topher that he managed to avoid eating Ramona, which is good, because you shouldn't eat people. The squirrel also mentions she was in her chick form, but so I guess there's some things about Ramona I just learned today, because I thought she was always a chick.
Oh, and Freddie found all his A/V equipment by the Hanson Campfire becase it looks like the squirrels are expanding to video now! That's great, Squirrels! If you need any help, let me know, I've done lots of video stuff before! You can even find a lot of it on the Internet.
Then, in TOWN yesterday, Jim was workin' on some parts from those big metal spiders at good old Fixer Uppers; Ariel came in excited about sunshine and the fact that Jim fixed up her MP3 player all nice and stuff. Dolf was also enjoyin' the sunshine by spending most of his shift outside of Turtle & Canary. Miss Porter came by to check on things after all those spiders; she was all worried about the SquishyBot, even if Dolf told her everything was fine, but grown up, they worry a lot about stuff. I guess it's just their job.
Err, Miss...Bo, I think, got a shiny new bathtub in her apartment, and Mr. Northman and Mr. Mitchell came on over, maybe to see the new bathtub. Or maybe use it, if they're dirty or their bathtub's not workin' right. Or something. Either way, it must be a real nice bathtub, because the squirrel here got all distracted by it and stuff.
Miss Isabela was etching some glass at The Devil's Nest before Mr. Swan came on in for a Father's Day beer. That just sounds....kinda sad. Not so sad is my big brother Jack doin' such a good job keeping Luke's Diner all spotless and clean and servin' food with gusto! Get it, Jack!
And there you have it, everybody! Your news for Sunday. I hoped you enjoyed listening as much as I enjoyed reportin'.
