Fandom Radio- Thursday, July 9
Surprise! This is Alexis! I'm not here on my normal day, so we're all going to change it up a bit. Because this is a week where everything changes, like, my stuff is dry clean only, why am I affected by a laundry strike and can I get my stuff back?
I am open to negotiations.
Also, the power's out, so I don't know if anyone's hearing this! I don't even know if we're broadcasting! For all I know the squirrels kidnapped me to make me their queen when no one would be able to witness it.
*chittering*
Way weirder stuff has happened to me, okay. And I'd be an amazing queen.
Anyway. Everything really took place in town, where Summer, Shunsui and Apu were still cleaning up a Squishy emergency, which sounds disgusting, and also the notes are all like 'covered in beeeeees,' like, okay. At the trooper station, Danny was trying to dig up information and New Steve came in shirtless and dirty and while plenty of movies would go in an entirely different direction, he just teased Danny about the uuuuuugh summer games and learned that the mayor's not a talking cat. Jaskier was enjoying the air conditioning at Dite's, where a shirtless Silver walked in and had to shop in order to stop having to explain his special someone back home. Look, I'm not entirely sure the squirrels aren't at least attempting to write porn here. Meanwhile Summer just seemed happy to get back to her air conditioned bar job, and I can't blame her! Seivarden wanted to make sure she was coming to Saturday's party, Rey listened to Summer's completely valid Squishy complaints, and Cait just needed to be hosed down.
And now we come to my least favorite part of yesterday, having to run through mud while some clumsy kid shoots at people with dye and somehow we call it fun. Before anyone knew what awaited us, Eleanor asked Mae what this was all about. I'd be more sympathetic if she didn't need to pay for my dry cleaning. People's names got called, and Mae seemed fine with the mud whereas Tahani did not, New Steve didn't know how they got his name so Iris had to explain about radio, and then, *long, long sigh* there was a mud run. My team did not win, that's all you need to know.
That's all for me right now. This has been Alexis Rose, live your...
No. You know what? There's no best life to live this week. This is hell. Enjoy hell.
