Fandom Radio, Wednesday, November 6th
It's Wednesday, so that means you have to put up with Jessica Drew on the radio again. You'll deal with it somehow, I'm sure. Because I believe in you.
It seems that Hannibal was disappointed with the saucy work his Cooking All Fancy-Like students did last week because this week he did simpler sauces. He didn't go all the way down to Boyardee Brand Tomato Sauce, which is something of a specialty of mine, not to brag. Fortunately, the class paid better attention than I would and got to work on their sauces.
Ethics played the Lady or the Tiger home game and, as much as I hate to say this as a lady, the tiger's probably going to win that fight. It's got the weight, claws, teeth, and being a wild animal advantage. After the class Eenie Meenie Miney Moed to the death, they talked about whether that was a reasonable thing or bat-dung crazy, and yes, I censored myself for family listening.
In History That Could Be Made Up For All You Know, Riley explained the Boston Molasses Disaster, which is actually something I knew about. Look at me, being ahead of the curve in a class I'm not even in. The students got to pick out some candy and then after class, Cecil confused Riley by bringing up some kind of faceless old woman. You got me.
And in H to H Combat, we had a movie day.
William had to deal with some Guy Fawkes snow in the library. And Sports 'n Stuff: The Club! played beer pong. Beause of course they did.
Over in the town, Flick people-watched in the Perk, proving that order is important. If I said he watched people in the Perk, it sounds creepy.
Bruce putted around the Wayne Foundation with a real golf club before Maddie stopped in for a job interview. Hope it went well, Maddie!
Evan sneaked a peek at upcoming books at Book Haven. Mary cleaned the lobby at the Arms.
Éponine looked well-rested at the Post Office when Drac stopped in to return an arm. This led to paperwork.
And finally, at Cartas, Kitty researched holiday drinks when Stiles popped in to do his homework at the bar. But it wasn't long before he zoned out and was unresponsive while writing something down.
And, um, on that note, have a great day, everyone! Good luck with whatever's going on if needed!
