Hey folks, Clint Barton here and... yep, it looks like we're having another fun weekend. And hey, for once I'm not affected. I promise to only gloat about that a little bit, so the island doesn't strike me down from inside the radio station.

Okay, let's see. At the school, Ahsoka had a normal shift at the library, aside from Tony spending eight hours on research for some reason, and Ahsoka getting a visit from a Master Kiwiiks. Hopefully, that was a welcome visit and not a weird one.

The dorms were nice and quiet, so I'm hoping that means you all somehow escaped whatever's going on. I know, I'm crazy. In town, Noah woke up at Eliot's place, along with Miss Parker who wanted to know if Eliot had kidnapped her. Eliot managed to convince her that this was the island's doing, not his, and also tried to get Noah calmed down. Above Luke's, there was a Cathy stuck in the attic, talking to a raven bird at the window, and it looks like Stiles and Derek came to visit Mike, except Stiles woke up next to someone named Clark who was clean-shaven and raised by farmers. Okay, you can't tell me that's not at least a little funny. Stiles was certainly amused when he told Mike, and Mike did well meeting Clark and staying cool about the whole thing.

Tony seems to have woken up as a teenager, and so did Steve, so I have a new pre-coffee mission for my day. Liam was confused about where he was when he woke up, and when Magnus brought coffee for, well, the usual Liam, he explained to the current Liam where he was. If you're getting a headache, blame Fandom. Someone named Scaramouche the Merciless woke up in town before going to flirt with the baristas at the Perk, and Galen woke up in Hannibal and Jono's place, but he fed their cats so I'm assuming he's a good guy. Master Kiwiiks also fed the pets she found, and I feel like that needs to be a sign in everyone's apartment: "If you've randomly ended up here, please fed my cats/dogs/whatever, oh and here's the wifi password."

Summer went to the park with an entourage of Mortys - look, I just read this stuff, I've long since stopped trying to understand it - and ran into Tip, who was looking for her cat. Summer told Tip about the Giant Heads who rule her world, and Tip told her how crazy that sounded, but Summer insisted they're wonderful. Riiight. She also ran into Mufasa, a talking lion who insisted he wasn't going to eat her, and Tip and Mufasa tried to figure out where they were. Peggy also didn't know where she was, but she ended up getting into a fight with Tip for being an old-fashioned racist, and had to convince Summer that she wasn't going to battle her and her Mortys.

I think that's the bit of strangeness I'm going out on because it looks like I'm out of notes. Uh, I know I usually tell you all to stay safe, but I really mean it this time, okay?

Hey folks, Clint Barton here, and I hope you're all having a fun Pride weekend. It looks like all these notes are about the parade, so let's see what happened there. Everything started on the causeway; Hannibal was impressed by Sparkle's broad and inclusive collection of Mardi Gras beads, and he made sure Jono knew he was proud of him for being at the parade. Eliot complimented Hardison on his sign, and tried to convince Hannibal that a rainbow-colored cowboy hat wasn't a total fashion crime. Parker had water for herself and Eliot and Hardison, and she and Eliot agreed to keep an eye on Hardison to make sure he didn't overdo it. Aww.

The parade made its way through town, where Raven caught up with Jono, and they talked about the difference between bi and pansexuality. Lucille and Cassandra watched the parade, agreeing that it was louder and brighter than others they'd seen, and talked about how same-sex relationships work where they're from. Lucille also made plans with Hannibal to talk to him after the parade. Sparkle got excited at Atton about the rainbows the island was putting out - that was very nice of her, I have to admit - and Kathy was cheering everyone on from the sidelines, and Dante and Anders stopped to make plans with her for later. Tip and Summer watched the parade together since they'd never been to a Pride thing before, and Raven joined Kathy in watching since she didn't feel comfortable walking in the parade with so many people around. Aww.

After the parade, a lot of folks stuck around in the park. Sparkle was excited to see Leto, who'd come to visit for the festivities, and Peter made Sparkle's day even more by giving him rainbow roses. Hannibal and Lucille did, in fact, catch up with each other and talked about how the parade went overall.

It sounds like a fun day was had by all, and apparently there's a picnic today, so be sure to check that out too.

Hey everyone, Clint Barton here with a usual-sized pile of notes. That's always a good sign of a peaceful weekend.

Over at the school, Ahsoka meditated on the library desk. Like, on top of it? *chittering* I guess that's better than under it or something. In town, Jono was making posters for next weekend's Pride Weekend at Groovy Tunes, and Octavia came in because she was curious what the store is all about. Taako got Fantasy Costco all decorated in red, white, and blue because, as he told Magnus, his boss wanted him to, but he didn't know what the colors were for. I don't know if these are guys who should be informed about the concept of fireworks, but if anyone's wondering, Google the Fourth of July and the whole thing will make a little more sense.

Now I'm thinking about apple pie, mmmm. I'd better get out of here before I make myself hungrier. Have a good one, folks!

Good morning, Fandom. I hope you're all feeling well-rested and/or well-caffeinated today. Let's see what the squirrels spotted yesterday.

Up at the school, Ahsoka was trying to clear some leftovers from the llamas out of the library, which hopefully wasn't as unpleasant as it sounds. In the dorms, Summer was relaxing and napping out on the deck, and in town, Jono was trapped in Groovy Tunes by Joni napping on his lap. It's true, you can't wake a sleeping cat, it's too mean and they'll make you pay for it. Finally, Mike had to listen to the zombies playing old TV tunes at Caritas. That could be entertaining if they're playing good ones.

And that's all for me for today. Stay safe, everyone!

Hey Fandom, this is Clint Barton hoping everyone's having a good Father's Day morning, if that's something you celebrate. I'm going to be quick here with my few notes: in town, Taako had a delicious caffeinated drink with him at Fantasy Costco, and Magnus stopped by to ask if he could borrow one of Taako's skirts since it's been so hot outside. No judgement here, welcome to summer in Fandom. They also talked about the need to bring frappes back to their own world, and Magnus tried to talk Taako into teaching. Everyone should try teaching here for a little while at least, the students are highly entertaining.

Now my usual need for caffeine is even worse, so I'm out of here. Have a good one, folks.

*cute weetiny lion roaring*

Stop trying to eat the microphone, I need it for just a little while, and then we can go home again. *coughs* So, hey Fandom, this is Clint Barton, here with some quick Sunday morning news. First things first, in the dorms, Summer made tacos for everyone in one of the common rooms. Tip was drawn in by the smell of the food, and she and Summer talked about Tip's microwaving skills, and how Summer was adjusting to being in Fandom.

In town, Jono was forced to listen to pop music by the stereo at Groovy Tunes, and Taako cleaned things up at Fantasy Costco by organizing the stock by color. Magnus noticed that the place looked a little different, and he told Taako about his trip to the mainland, where he didn't get any closer to getting them home, and offered to fight the tentacles in the stock room. That sounds fun and gross at the same time.

And that's all the notes, so that's it for me today. Have a good one, everyone.

Hey folks, Clint Barton here.

*weetiny adorable roaring*

And Kitty says hello too. This isn't quite what I had in mind when I thought about sharing the radio booth with my wife, but hey, it could be worse, right? Anyway, I just have two quick notes today before I leave you to your day and I go back to lion-sitting: over at the school, poor Ashoka was still getting paint colors off of herself at the library, and in town, Jalian ended up working on a toaster at Stark Industries even though she didn't want to and the customer was stupid.

That's it for me. Say goodbye, sweetie.

Hey everyone, Clint Barton here, and from the stack of notes I've got here, it looks like yesterday was a peaceful day in Fandom.

*chittering*

"Peaceful" is not the same as "boring."  Sometimes it's nice to wake up on a weekend and just be yourself, you know? Anyway, over at the school, Ashoka had to keep an alot of glitter occupied at the library so it didn't get any glitter on the books. It doesn't look like anything major happened in the dorms, and in town, Taako was dumping things all over the place at Fantasy Costco, Jalian was working on some tech with Jarvis at Stark Industries, and Jono's cat was hunting the little blue men who live under the shelves in Groovy Tunes. Yeah, that definitely seems like a note to end on. Have a safe week, everyone!

Hey everyone, it's another lovely Sunday in Fandom, so I'm Clint Barton here with everything the squirrels caught us doing yesterday. Let's get right down to it, shall we? Over at the school, a well-caffeinated Ahsoka was working at the library as usual, and in the dorms, Summer threw a party for the students. Dante introduced himself to Summer and they talked about where they came from before ending up in Fandom. Peebee teased Dante about having a shirt on, and he suggested that she join in the shirtless fun at the next welcome picnic. Peebee also shared her alcohol stash with Summer, for the sake of the party, and Jason let Peebee pick out a drink for him that wouldn't give him alcohol poisoning. That's a very low standard for a drink, just saying. Summer welcomed Isabela and congratulated her on surviving the first week of classes, and Peebee and Isabela seemed very interested in each other. I suppose that's better than reporting on people fighting. Mara and Summer talked about the drinks that were available, and Jason talked to Mara about weirdly named American drinks, like Mountain Dew. Jason and Summer talked about how their first week of classes went, and Rey came by to support Summer's party-throwing efforts; she and Peebee talked about space travel in their respective worlds, and Rey congratulated Summer on throwing a good party.

Over in town, Tamsin was having a casual get-together to watch Eurovision, and Tony stopped by to join her, and hopefully not get any new ideas for costume designs. And Jono was at Groovy Tunes, writing paychecks for his employees like a good boss. That looks like it's everything from the notes, so I'm going to go reward myself with some coffee. Have a good week, everyone.

Good morning! Since we have a bunch of new people in town, I'll go ahead and introduce myself. My name is Clint Barton, and if you happened to spot a squirrel running around the island yesterday, well, this is why. Yes, they take notes on the daily activity of the town, and yes, there's someone who reads those notes every day. Hopefully, that's not the weirdest thing you've heard yet.

Hey folks, Clint Barton here, and for once, I know exactly what these notes are going to be about before the squirrels have even handed them over. In case you were hiding out somewhere and missed the excitement, yesterday was graduation over at the school. Like most of the time, it started out okay: everyone's guests arrived as all the seniors came in in their terrible, goofy robes. Ada and Anders were less than impressed with the outfits, and Isabela got to explain the tradition of graduation robes to Jalian. Zoe and Anakin gave speeches, along with Isabela in her role as Student Council president, and then everybody got their diplomas, aww.

Now, if you've attended graduation before, you know this is where the fun usually starts, and it was no different this year - some guy showed up and turned into a giant snake, which is both gross and kind of offensive. Like, can't the graduates get a break one year? Anyway, people kind of freaked out and thankfully a bunch of the grads were armed and able to take the snake down while those who didn't want to fight stayed safe. I suppose it could have been a lot worse, but I'm just glad everyone's okay.

That's it for me; stay safe and enjoy a nice, quiet week before all the new people show up next weekend.

Hey folks, Clint Barton here, and if it seems like I'm talking a little faster than usual today, it's because I have an adorable young lady waiting for me back at home, and I only get to see her once a year. That's right, you're not hallucinating, there are a lot more kids in town than usual this weekend thanks to the portal in the park. This is so much better than weird animals, right?

Over at the school, Ahsoka was still wearing her crown from Prom at the library, and Wonka got a letter that said he needed to return home. That's never a good note to get. At the dorms, the adorable children began their invasion. Ada got visited by Janie, who she's met before, and then Isabela arrived with their daughter Gemma, which left Ada with some questions about conception. You've just got to roll with things this weekend, and not ask any questions about biological logic. Ada also got a visit from a little girl named Zia that she hadn't met before either. New kids make this whole thing more entertaining, that's for sure. Dante, Kathy, and Anders were all together when their kids started arriving; Dante tried to get the others out of bed since he remembered Prom usually makes the kids show up, and then Kate got them moving in time to meet twin girls that Kathy and Dante hadn't met before. At least you're all friendly and they aren't children with strangers, right?

In town, Tony and Steve were inhaling some coffee when Eli arrived, with a shield like Steve's and confusion about Steve and Tony living together. Mmm, awkward. Thankfully, things weren't awkward at my house where Kitty made a big breakfast before our daughter Lexi arrived. I guess it is a little weird to expect her these days but... anyway, Hannibal was smart and remembered that we might get a child invasion, so he had plenty of food at his place, and invited folks to come over. Lucille came by with Lenora, who's technically her niece, and Helena made Hannibal guess who her parents are - Karla and Leto, apparently - and he left messages for them so they'd know to come to town. Jono also admitted to Hannibal that he looks forward to this weekend, which I have to agree with.

Sparkle was heading out of his place when he found his son Elias ready to break in, and after a moment of fatherly pride, they talked about where he was from and how he ended up in Fandom. Lucille was heading through the park when her niece found her, and Kanan was pacing nervously because he could tell something was off, and Hera tried to get him to go outside and find whatever is making him feel nervous. Isabelle and Flick came back to Fandom to meet up with their kids at J,GoB, and Flick pointed out that she seemed kind of nervous about seeing their kids again. Jaime and Momoko also headed to Fandom after getting a call, but their kids weren't exactly happy to see Momoko. Luckily, Leda's daughter Rain was very happy to see her instead.

Okay, that's all I've got note-wise, so I'm out of here. Have an excellent rest of the weekend with all your kids!

So, [microphone feedback] bunnies. Is this my fault for asking for a quiet weekend? This might be my fault, sorry. Anyway, there's bunnies running around that are a lot bigger than they should be, so hopefully you're listening to this from somewhere indoors where it's safe--if you can even hear this at all, considering all our technology isn't working right either. [Microphone feedback].

Okay, time for the notes. Up at the school, Ahsoka didn't look like she was in a good mood as she got the library set up for visitors, and luckily a bunch of people showed up to try to figure out where our latest invaders came from. John found something that made it sound like Fandom tried to do its place-jumping thing again, but didn't actually go anywhere. Kenzi and Tip got acquainted after Kenzi explained that this isn't something that happens every Easter, and Kathy and Tip talked about knowing multiple languages while trying to find things related to bunnies.

In town, Eliot and Hardison freaked out over the disappearance of the mainland and the phone lines and internet, respectively, and Cassandra and Lucille encountered rabbits in the park. Seriously, stay inside, people. Kitty got some coffee before heading around town to help--okay, if you're an adult or you're married to me you can do what you want but otherwise, stay inside.

Over at Groovy Tunes, Jono had a sign up offering shelter and escorting for anyone who needed to get back to safety, and Hannibal called to make sure he knew strange things were going on. Bucky tried to Google about giant bunnies at Wonka's, but JARVIS let him know the internet was down, and that he should lock the door. See, the AIs know what to do, they're very smart. Finally, at the Magic Box, Jenkins stabbed a rabbit to be able to get inside, which sounds kind of violent until you think about how freaking big these things are. Peter also had a sword, and he and Jenkins tried to figure out what to do with the rabbit's body. Parker also came by since she figured this is a magical thing happening so hey, maybe the magic store would have an answer.

Okay, now I'm not going to say anything about what next weekend should be like, I'm just going to reiterate that unless you have to be outside, you really shouldn't go anywhere. Stay safe!

[personal profile] so_hawkward
Good morning, everyone. This is Clint Barton, and I think I would have preferred to wake up as a woman again rather than go through another day singing. Anyone else with me? *sighs* Let's see what the notes from yesterday say.

There aren't any notes from the school, but over in the dorms, Dante was humming away in the third floor common room while he rifled through the fridge, and when Rhys came in, Dante claimed all the food he found for himself, and then warned Rhys to be careful talking since he could end up breaking into song at any moment. Pinkie was singing a very uplifting song on the deck; Hanna found her and when Pinkie realized she was singing too, Hanna tried to explain Fandom's weird singing day to her.

Over in town, Kathy was brooding in one of the old warehouses when Dante came by--they sang at each other, of course, but got a lot of stuff out in the open between themselves, so maybe that's not a bad thing? Raven also cleared some things up with Kathy once she got back to their place, and there was a lot of apologetic singing going on. Steve woke up singing the Army song, because of course he did, and when Tony realized it was a Fandom thing, he tried to convince Steve not to listen to anything he might say. Aww Tony, since when do we listen to what you say to begin with?

Hannibal and Jono had Kanan and Hera over for dinner, which turned a bit musical, of course. Hera thought it was kind of amusing, which I guess it is, compared to some of the other stuff this place throws at us. Faraday sang his way through opening up Wellspring Arms, which made Goody very amused, and Mike was prepared for singing at Caritas, so when Verity came in he got to explain that no, it wasn't just her feeling full of songs at the moment. Raven ended up spending the evening brooding on the roof of Groovy Tunes, and when Jono found her, they talked about getting over bad crap and how to move on from it and figure out what you really want to do. See, who needs therapy when we have days like this to help us get stuff out, right?

Anyway, that's everything from here. Have a good week, and let's hope next weekend is nice and peaceful, yeah?

Good morning, everyone. This is Clint Barton and yeah, it's one of those weekends again. I'm still hot as a woman though, so I can't get too mad at this place. Anyway, I'm sure there was a lot of freaking out yesterday, so let's see what the squirrels have for us.

Hey folks, Clint Barton here, and it looks like the only news from yesterday is that Peter decided to throw an impromptu movie night shindig at his place, and Kanan was totally game, as long as they didn't watch anything animated. You guys have been watching the wrong animated movies, obviously.

As for the rest of you, stay safe and have a good week.

Hello everyone, and welcome to the end of another weekend. This is Clint Barton with a short stack of notes--it's like a short stack of pancakes, but with potentially more embarrassment.

Over at the school, some of the books in the library were throwing themselves at poor Ahsoka. In town, Raven was watching some terrible hospital drama show when Kathy came home with quesadillas, and they tried to figure out what else to watch while talking about how they were adjusting to being back in Fandom. Kathy also spent some time at Dite's, unpacking inventory and texting with Anders before he ultimately came over to join her, and at Caritas, Mike was doing some business-related math while Tony came in because they weren't terribly busy.

That looks like everything, so I'll take this chance to say I hope you all have a really good rest of the weekend, and I'll see you here next week. Bye!

Hey everyone, it's Sunday morning and that means it's time for News with Clint Barton. News, gossip, privacy violations, whatever you want to call it. Let's see what the notes have in store for us today.

Over at the school, Ahsoka was back at the library, so Rhys came by to visit her too, and to see if there were any books about his world in the library while he was at it. In the dorms, Dante fought some of the training dummies in the salle and by "fought" I apparently mean "wrecked" because he's, quote, "really, really badass." You've got at least one squirrel fan there, Dante. In the second floor common room, poor Lucille got bitten by a gremlin and thought she was some kind of perky cleaning lady; Thorin was really confused by the personality shift, even more so when Lucille broke into song. Aww, someone ought to check on her and make sure she's okay today.

In town, Kathy was making packages of basic sex supplies at Dite's when Eliot burst out of the back room. Apparently he'd been trapped somewhere for a week thanks to gremlins, but he was less freaked out about being gone for a week, and more freaked out that Kathy is apparently running the town's sex shop. I mean, it could be worse. She could... be doing other things for money that I shouldn't say out loud and I'm just going to stop myself here and move on. Eliot went home after that, where Parker was very happy to see him, especially after he explained that he hadn't really gone anywhere and he wasn't sure why she and Hardison got a note from him, and Hardison mostly wanted Eliot to take a shower. We've got to get the gremlins to support basic hygiene practices, clearly.

That's all I've got for now, so stay safe until next week, and for the love of god if you see a gremlin, get the hell away from it, yeah?

Hey everyone. This is Clint Barton with what looks like a short bit of news, which is good because I woke up late and haven't had my coffee yet.

All the news is from town today - at Groovy Tunes, Jono had the stereo playing sad songs about cats, and when Raven came by to visit, she and Jono ended up talking about his plans for The Boards and how he can make people want to be on stage. Bribery, maybe? That seems to work in most situations. Also, the junkyard's apparently been renamed to Syndulla Scrap, and Kanan came by to check in on Hera and find out a little more about her while she worked.

That's everything, and now I just hope there's a mug of coffee waiting for me at home. Have a good week, you guys.

[personal profile] so_hawkward
Good morning, folks. This is Clint Barton, hoping your collective weekend is going well. Let's see what the notes have in store for our entertainment today, yeah?

So, over at the dorms, Rhys was getting ready for the school dance when Xanthippe came by and told him not to wear a skinny tie because it would be embarrassing for both of them. She's not wrong, for the record, even I know that. Kuzco also thought Rhys looked ridiculous, but Rhys pointed out Kuzco is a llama at the moment, so he can't really judge how people look. And instead of going to the dance, Shiemi spent her evening reading up about the spring break trip. That should be fun, like always.

In town, Jono was playing along with the radio on his guitar at Groovy Tunes when Raven came by to, and I quote, "work through some stuff with him." I hope that went well, at least. Mary wasn't feeling well at the Arms Hotel, but she took care of opening the place in the morning anyway, and in the evening, Hannibal and Jono got dressed up nicely before heading off to London.

Finally, these notes all seem to be about the tropical island-themed Valentine's Dance. Everything was set up like islands in the town hall, using as much glitter as possible, of course. Ada and Hyacinthe were confused about being given leis and thinking... uh, of something that's not a necklace, oops. Dante showed up with a corset and his own alcohol; Ada was impressed, and Hyacinthe let Dante explain more about what Valentine's Day was actually supposed to be about. Hyacinthe also complimented Lucille on her dress, and told her she'd look lovely even if it did get covered in glitter.

Around the inside there was a place for people to take pictures, and also food, of course. Kuzco met up with Frank by the drinks, and got Frank to make him something... er, Caritas-friendly, we'll put it that way. Over on the dance floor... barge, area thing, Ada and Isabela shared a dance, and there was also a spot for people who didn't really want to be social. The chaperones had their own area, and Tony was just amused by how quickly Steve ended up covered in glitter. I hope he got some pictures too, while he was at it.

And that's everything, so I'm going to get out of here. Have an awesome rest of the weekend, and if you're going on the trip, don't forget to pack.

Hey everyone, Clint Barton here, and I'm really glad the squirrels just handed me a tiny set of notes, because I've got a raging headache and bed that's calling me back to it. It looks like the only thing the squirrels caught was in town at Groovy Tunes - Jono had the little blue guys who have taken up residence in the store testing various karaoke machines for him, and Peter came in because it was such a weird sight that he had to check it out, before also asking for music recommendations.

And that's it. Stay safe, and try to start warm too out there. Freaking winter.

[personal profile] so_hawkward
Good morning, folks. At least, I hope it's been a good morning so far. This is Clint Barton, and I've got rum-laced coffee and a stack of notes, so let's do this thing.

Over at the school, Ahsoka had a quiet library to deal with, but she and Rhys were still convinced something strange was going on and the strange thing was just being silent. That's not paranoid at all! In the dorms, Ringo had some kind of bad nightmare and couldn't go back to sleep, and Xanthippe was horrified by her social media in the fifth floor common room. Ringo tried to understand what was making her so upset while she got herself some cereal, and Xanthippe seemed to feel better when Rhys came in, since she immediately started flirting with him. Yep, talking about the social lives of students never feels less awkward, good to know.

In town, Jono was rocking out to the Clash at Groovy Tunes when he got a phone call from Ino, and he helped her figure out how she could get to Fandom and some places she could stay when she gets here. Hannibal also came by with food and coffee for Jono, and Jono promised to make up for missing Hannibal's birthday. Honestly, the only reason I remember Kitty's birthday is because it's so close to mine. It's a good thing spousal love makes people forgiving.

Jalian stayed busy disassembling some things at Stark's, and there was a neon theme going at Caritas in the evening. Dante, Anders, and Kathy came in, ordered a number of strong drinks, and talked about Kathy getting settled back into Fandom. Verity also dropped in and got some drink recommendations from Mike, and their conversation quickly devolved into flirting. See, that's so much easier to say when it's about adults. The Devil's Nest also got a visit from Verity, who introduced herself to Eric since she's new to town. I hope someone already warned her about the squirrels but if not... sorry.

And that's all the notes, so I'm going to take my coffee and get out of here. Be good, you guys.
so_hawkward: (Default)
[personal profile] so_hawkward
Hey everyone, Clint Barton here, and if you all could join me in hoping that these notes don't have anything too weird in them, I'd really appreciate it.

All right, over at the school, Ahsoka was working in the library when Shiemi came by looking for books on gardening and swords. I'm thinking those were two different books, unless that's some sort of specialty hobby I'm not aware of.

In the dorms, Anders and Dante were thinking about playing Pokemon Go, but Ringo came to their room and asked them to go to Los Angeles with her to find Kathy and... uh, it looks like they're going to try to bring her back. Like, really back and... man, that'd be a hell of a thing if it works. Okay, forget sensible notes, let's switch to hoping whatever the hell these guys are doing works. Still in the dorms, Lucille made scones in the second floor common room. Thorin thought it was funny to find her baking, and Pinkie complimented her on an admirable first try at making scones that look like scones, and wondered with Thorin if Lucille was actually going to share what she'd made.

Over in town, Jono had some soft jazz going at Groovy Tunes, and Mike had a similar musical theme going at Caritas in the evening. Anakin took his kids to J,GOB and ran into Jaina, who'd come to town looking for him. Isn't it nice when a plan comes together like that? And that's all the notes so... I don't know, just stay safe as always, you guys.
so_hawkward: (Default)
[personal profile] so_hawkward
Hey folks, Clint Barton here with a surprising amount of strange notes from yesterday. Apparently, some folks are still seeing ghosts... yeah, that's not at all creepy.

Over at the school, Ahsoka found the library full of plush microbes, but otherwise quiet. In the dorms, Dante and Anders got visited by Kathy's ghost, which I'm hoping was at least a good conversation and not as awful as it sounds. Dante also found Kathy at the salle, where they talked about some of the things that happened here after Kathy died. Ringo was relaxing on the roof of the dorms when Alluka found her, and they talked about the classes they're taking this semester, and what the bad feeling Ringo's been feeling might be all about. I'm going to guess it's about whatever the hell is happening right now.

In town, Hanna was going for a run when her father found her, and she was very, very happy to see him. That's good, at least. Tip was visited by someone called the Chief, so she showed him around the junkyard, and then Hanna came by with her dad and they all talked about the girls ending up in Fandom. Leto also got a visit from his father, and he took him to the Perk so they could talk about how Leto ended up in Fandom, and how Leto ended up with a daughter. Kanan was in the park when his visitor, his previous Master, showed up and she convinced him to at least get out of the rain so they could talk more.

Eliot had Luke's open, and he and Parker talked about the bad dreams they'd been having before Kathy showed up. Eliot made sure she was really their Kathy and not one from some other Fandom, while Lucille just wondered if Kathy had missed Fandom. Alluka was very happy to see Kathy, although she was also sad that Kathy can only stay for the weekend. Anders asked Kathy about what happened when she died, and Parker was curious about where Kathy came from, which is a way more complicated question, now that I think about it. Ringo and Kathy also had a tearful greeting, especially when Ringo realized it would be temporary. Man, Monday's going to suck.

Finally, over at Caritas, Goodnight and his visitor Billy met Nathan and his visitor Katsumoto, and they talked about how each pair had met and fought together. Mike made sure to greet Goodnight since he hadn't seen him at the bar before, and found some sake for Nathan and his friend.

That looks like all the notes so... yeah, I don't know. Just have a good rest of the weekend, everyone.

*excited chittering sounds*

Yeah, yeah, it's good to see you guys too. This place just wasn't the same without you all running around and spying on us.

So, uh, this is Clint Barton with some notes from the squirrels. Hopefully, no one got too used to having privacy around here the last few months. Over at the school, Ahsoka was managing the library, which was apparently full of different kinds of weather. In the dorms, Kuzco was destroying a cake all by himself while watching South African soap operas in the second floor common room and Shiemi was confused about why Kuzco is a llama. Now I have questions too, to be honest.

In town, Nathan Algren acquired a home on Chimera Court, which means I have to make sure my dogs don't run through that yard, and Jono had to deal with techno polka at Groovy Tunes. That doesn't sound like a type of music that should exist, but I know the internet has no bounds on the horrors it can create.

That looks like everything here for now. We'll see what the squirrels spot next week, I suppose.

Good morning, Fandom. This is Clint Barton, and to those of you tuning in for the first time, welcome to this weird place, and I hope someone warned you about the squirrels. I'm fully caffeinated for once since I had a feeling I'd be coming in to a lot of notes, and the squirrels did not disappoint. Let's see how everyone's first day went, shall we?

Hey folks, Clint Barton here, and it looks like everyone's enjoying their summer break weeks somewhere that's not here. The only notes are from town - Bellamy did an inventory check at Freedom Arms, Flick was looking awfully bored at Wonkas, and Mike was drawing pictures of furniture at Caritas. I have to admit, it's kind of nice to see this place normal and quiet. Have a good second break week, everyone.

Hey folks, this is Clint Barton with your Sunday morning gossip. It looks like the school and the dorms were quiet, so that must mean all the good stuff happened in town. At Wonka's, Flick was looking at furniture online when Isabelle came by and also talked to him about furniture, and helping to decorate his future apartment. Bellamy was in a grumpy mood at Freedom Arms, and Mike was running a special at Caritas on weird vodkas like pickle-flavored and bacon-flavored. Bacon-flavored booze probably wouldn't be that bad actually. Who doesn't like bacon?

There was also a party over at Hannibal and Jono's place. There was really good food, of course, and Jono offered to let Jalian take a plate home before they got to talking about water balloon fights. Eliot and Hannibal talked about their plans for the fall and Eliot and Jono talked about how Hannibal won't make fish and chips right. That seems a little too processed compared to what he puts out. Hardison talked with Eliot about the food and complimented Hannibal on his cooking. There was apparently a water balloon fight and then even more food, because it's a Hannibal party, and then there was dancing and fancy wines. That all sounds like it was a good time where no one went home hungry, that's for sure.

Those are all the squirrel notes, so I'm signing off. Have a safe week!

Hmmm, morning.

*chittering*

I didn't sleep through my alarm, you got me before my alarm, you little rodents. Gimme the notes. Okay, in the dorms, Jasper was looking through some photos and trying to calm himself down. I hope they were nice photos then. In town, Flick was trying not to fall asleep during his shift at Wonka's - hey, I feel you there - and Jessica discovered that the Perk was having a sale on decaf coffee. Boo, decaf. Finally, Bellamy had his first day of work at Freedom Arms and Washington came in for a rocket launcher... why? Anyway, he and Bellamy bickered a ton. Hopefully over the lack of need for a rocket launcher around here.

And that's everything so now I'm going back to bed, good night. Morning. Whatever.

Good morning, folks. Hopefully it's been a good morning for you. This is Clint Barton and let's see what the notes say today. It looks like all the news is from town - Stiles was in town, eating everything in Mike and Derek's fridge; Mike got mad, but Stiles got him talking about the business he's trying to start, and Derek promised to replace all of Mike's food and then he and Stiles got to talking about their wedding. I feel like that's going to be a common conversation topic for the next few months. At Wonka's, Flick wasn't looking too good, but he still put together a display to make two candies compete, and Isabelle came by to bring him lunch and show off pictures of him that she'd taken. At Freedom Arms, York was cleaning the place to classic rock, a good choice of music for when you're doing something boring, and Bellamy came in to stock up on guns and ended up with a job instead. And probably access to the guns, so there you go. At the Gig, Dani was nursing her injured foot, and at Caritas, Mike had a special for people who wouldn't talk to him about marriage. Yeeeah, I can see how that might be needed, and yet I'm not sorry at all. That's everything the squirrels handed me, so I'm out of here. Have a safe week!

Hey folks, Clint Barton here, and if I didn't know any better, I'd say the squirrels missed me last week. Of course, if they really missed me, they'd be offering me coffee instead of booze, I'm just saying.

Let's see what they caught everyone doing yesterday: in the dorms, Alluka had all her toys out in her room; Mabel told her all about getting turned into a bird while they played with play-dough, and Anders talked to Alluka about how real her stuffed animals are. If they're really real, that could be either cool or scary, I'm not sure. Also, in town, Flick was in a bad mood at Wonka's and was rage texting. I don't know if that means hitting the screen extra hard or texting in all caps, but either way that doesn't sound fun, and I hope things get better soon.

It looks like things were otherwise quiet yesterday, so I'm off to get my caffeine reward. Have a good week!

Hey folks, Clint Barton here, with all the Fourth of July news I can decipher. It looks like everything major happened in town; Jessica was stuck outside her room at the Arms Hotel wearing just her underwear and looking like she'd had one hell of a day. The squirrels like the blue hair, for the record. At Wonka's, Flick set up a red, white, and blue display, as is required of all Americans on the Fourth. At J,GOB, York ordered patriotic donuts and got into a bickering discussion with Washington and if the squirrels wave that glitter flag any closer to my face I'm going to take it and stick it somewhere uncomfortable.

*chittering*

Yeah, don't test me. Lastly, Allie was out on the beach to see if she could see any fireworks from Fandom. I'm just glad we didn't have any of those random firework vendors that show up in parking lots every June. I hope everyone had a nice holiday, and stay safe, folks.

Hey folks, Clint Barton here, and in case anyone was wondering, yes, the station still looks like someone threw up rainbows in here. That glitter's gonna stick forever, you guys.

*chittering with zero [microphone feedbacks] given*

Thankfully, my eyes have started to adjust, so I think I can actually decipher the notes now. It looks like things were quiet at the school, but in the dorms - wait, aren't you guys supposed to be in yurts? 'Cause that word never gets less funny to say. Anyway, in the dorms, Johnny hosted a party on the sixth floor. Edward was excited for free food and wanted to know what the party was being thrown for, and he talked to Nathan about his new job. Nathan also talked to Johnny about his ability to throw a party where no one was supposed to be, which is maybe tied to his power as Homecoming king. If school royalty actually had power, that would explain a lot about some of the weird stuff that happens in that building. Anders and Nathan were happy to be out of the yurt for the night. Yurt yurt yurt - I'm sorry, it's just fun to say. Gwen intended on eating until it was time to catch her portal home, and Alana suggested to Johnny that they stay in the dorms after the party. Homecoming King, indeed. Anders and Johnny discussed the smell of wet yak for whatever reason, and Kira was just surprised that they were allowed to be in the dorms at all. After that, everyone played I Never, which hopefully involved them admitting there are a lot of things they haven't done, because they're teenagers. Let an old guy hope, okay?

In town, Wonka's was done up in rainbows while Flick tried to get actual work done - I understand how that goes now - and the Perk was also rainbowed out, and Kitty got guilted by the barista for trying to buy a regular drink. Hey! If I have to threaten someone at the Perk, just let me know.

That looks like it's everything, and it's probably a good time for me to get out of here before I end up with more glitter stuck to me than I can ever get rid of. Have a safe week, folks.

Hey folks, this is Clint Barton with a pretty quick broadcast because it looks like the only news is from town: Flick spent his shift at Wonka's texting someone, and at Caritas, Mike had to try to decide if the zombies rocking out to Depeche Mode was a good thing or not. I'm going with no, because that's tainting a classic.

Anyway, that's all I've got. Oh hey, don't forget that it's Father's Day, so make sure you call your dads or your dad-like people in your life. Stay safe, everyone.
so_hawkward: (Default)
[personal profile] so_hawkward
Hey everyone, Clint Barton here and ugh, I forgot how warm it can get in here when it's hot outside. Luckily, this stack of notes doesn't look too awful. Let's see, in the dorms, Jasper made a phone call and then spent some time looking at pictures of... well, what I imagine most teenage guys look at on their computer. Ezra was wandering around his room shirtless--sorry Ezra, I'm just reading it like it is--and Ronan came by. He and Ezra talked about Ronan getting turned into a girl, and then got into a fight about Ronan enjoying things. Cosima also said hi to Ezra, and they talked about whether or not Cosima made out with anyone while the boys were girls. Apparently, the answer is no, and I'm going to be good and not judge whether that's okay or not.

In town, someone named York showed up with his stuff at Freedom Arms, and talked to his AI before having an actual conversation with Washington, who it sounds like he knows? But they kept their guns drawn on each other while they got caught up so... take that as you will. Finally, Flick had candy for breakfast at Wonka's, which seems like a perfectly reasonable employee privilege.

That's all I've got, so I'm going to get out of here and maybe get some iced coffee for a change. Have a good week, folks.

I know, I know, just give me the notes. Okay, uh, Hannibal set up a bunch of stuff at his place so he could give Jono a massage, and then he had to get Jono away from reading and spending time with his cat to actually get the massage. And speaking of reading, Flick restocked all the displays at Wonka's before spending the rest of his shift reading a book. Now, can I go back to bed?

*lighter chittering*

Awesome, thank you.

Hey folks, Clint Barton here, and it looks like things have been nice and quiet this weekend. It's amazing what happens when we're all in our right minds, huh? It looks like the only news is from town - Jono was dyeing some things in Hannibal's backyard and Aluka came by, and Jono helped her get covered up so her dress wouldn't get messed up. Over at Cafe Fina, Tim Desmond and Gwynn Hood were visiting and there was apparently a marriage proposal. Aww, congrats guys. Flick spent most of his shift at Wonka's texting, and Dani was reviewing horse betting information for the next part of the Triple Crown.

That looks like everything, so I'm off for round two of Sunday morning caffeine. Have a safe week, you guys.

Hey folks, this is Clint Barton. I, uh, forgot about the squirrel ambush, but thankfully it looks like I don't have a ton to talk about. Face was reading during his library shift, like he probably should have been, and Flick called his mom. Riiight, Mother's Day, yeah. Uh, Eliot got home from a trip and told Parker and Hardison all about going to see his sister. At Groovy Tunes, Jono was reading and playing classic rock when Bob came in and accused him of not having enough fun. Sometimes a man's just got to work, you know? And at the Magic Box, Anders was writing a letter to his mother when Nathan came by with lunch, and they talked about their classes and... invisibility? That's always a cool power.

Anyway, that's all the squirrels handed me, so... happy belated Mother's Day to any of the moms out there and... yeah, bye guys.

Yes, I remember how to do this. You're the ones who came to get me even though I really don't have time for this today. Anyway, Kira is apparently... not doing okay at the moment, so this is Clint Barton with all the latest news on whatever the hell it is that's happening this week.

--right, all right, I'm here. Geez, pokey squirrels. Uh, hey Fandom, this is Clint Barton. Apparently our usual Sunday morning radio guy isn't here, so you get to listen to me while you finish all your last minute-packing for whatever spring break plans you've got. It looks like things were quiet at the school yesterday, and over in the dorms, Rilla was packing like someone who doesn't leave things to the last minute. Smart girl. In town, Sheba was watching some Galaxy Quest when Dinah showed up all surprised that Sheba's a woman because apparently this is a thing that's not just happening on weekends anymore. Which is great, and by "great" I mean "terrible." Momoko was less surprised by the change, and Dinah talked to her about her recent Portalocity trip involving tiny octupuses.

Dani was doing some online clothes shopping at The Gig and Nikolai was doing some online motorcycle shopping at the Arms Hotel. Sparkle had Demon Marcus open for anyone who needed last minute stuff for Bali, and Eleanor, Celia, and Elsa came in looking for swimsuits and were surprised by how little material there was to be found. Aww girls, welcome to the 21st century.

That seems to be everything, so I'm going back to what I was doing before I got squirrel-napped. Have a good day, folks, and if you're not going on the school trip, enjoy your break.

Hey folks, this is Clint Barton, as usual. What's not usual is this tiny stack of notes the squirrels just handed me, but I can't exactly complain about getting out of here early today so... let's see, over in the dorms, Flick made breakfast in one of the common rooms in the morning, and in the evening, Toby was watching the third Cactibear movie in there, most likely because that thing is so bad it's actually almost entertaining. Stephanie was horrified by Toby's choice of entertainment, and they wondered if the people who wrote those kinds of movies used to live in Fandom. That would explain so much. Stephanie and Mara talked about crappy entertainment in their home cities, and Toby explained the plot of Cactibear to poor Mara. Petra came in looking for chocolate and told Toby she would miss this place, terrible movies and all, and then clarified for Mara that she meant she'd miss dorm life. Really? I guess it's better than bouncy castle life.

Over in town, Eponine had to deal with a seriously weird employee at the post office, Bay was doodling pictures of babies at Luke's, and Jaye took over the bar at Caritas when she saw no one was working. In Kitty's defense, she's very busy and not here for good reasons, which reminds me that I need to sign off for now in case she calls me. Have a safe week, folks.
